Really good food! There is one line and you step up to order. Then you sit down till they call your name. Food is served on a... tray. You can see in the kitchen as they cook. They also have seating outside. In a decent area. You also get your own drinks.The sweet tea was really good! Did remove one star due to close to back where the bathrooms are is run down games that looklike they haven?t been cleaned off. Also bathrooms and bathroom areas were dirty && had a very weird smell to them. But otherthen that the service was great. Every one was friendly upbeat. Quick workers. My husband and I have been coming Longhorn Cafe for a few years now. Lately we have noticed a decline in service, food quality,... and cleanliness. Today will our last time going to the Brooks City Base location. After ordering our food that took 45 minutesto come out we went to grab silverware. All silverware was coated with food residue, see below. Our onion rings were barely roomtemperature, and the condiment bottles were all filthy. Very mediocre, but there's not a lot of quality restaurants around them. I got the fish dinner w/ two sides - side salad w/... ranch and okra. Look at the "salad" that came with it. Please....just tossing some shredded Lettuce and a tomato slice does notequate to a salad. Kind of a ripoff if you ask me. Read more
Great food and staff. Good prices, excellent food. Spacious areas. Tables were greasy and so were chairs.
Good lunch spot. Will return for the burgers as I had a lighter Caesar chicken salad. It was good food for our softball team... with plenty of seating ???? Read more
This place used to be amazing. Big juicy burgers and great staff. They took the specialty burgers off of their menu.(had a... craving for the big poppa so I drove over) Strong sewer smell starting at the soda fountains and going back. The burger Isettled on was cooked perfectly and I wish I could give the amazing staff five stars. Put the menu back the way it was and cleanthe birds nest out of the sewer stack and I will change my rating. Read more

Not a horrible place, but for us it's just okay. Went in on an off peak time and waited about 30 minutes for two cheeseburgers... and onion rings. 30 minutes. The onion rings were actually cold to the touch as if they had been sitting under an A/C ventwaiting for our 30 minute burgers. It's not all bad, our burgers were actually really good. It's one of those places, based onprevious reviews and our personal experience, that can be great or mediocre. Roll the dice and see for yourself. Read more
