Reviews for Little Italy Restaurant & Pizzeria in San Antonio, TX
It's great to have a genuine family owned Italian restaurant to visit. A welcome break from the usual chain restaurants that... seemingly overwhelms the San Antonio area. The atmosphere is somewhat nostalgic in that it seems like a scene from the movie"Goodfellas" could have easily been filmed here. Definitely adds to the overall charm. Wife and I love it! The food is simplydelicious! Each time we visit, we add another favorite dish to our favorites list! I had the Chicken Marsela, and it wasperfectly balanced between the chicken, mushrooms and wine sauce. The accompanying pasta was cooked to the correct level, as innot too soft nor too hard. Just the right side of al dente. Deducted one star for service just because the restaurant washosting a huge celebration with 70 people and so we ended up having to wait a little longer for our food. Our server was greatthough. She kept us supplied with endless breadsticks and drinks and promptly explained why there was an extended wait for ourorder. I always appreciate an honest and upfront explanation from a business when things don't go exactly as planned. This tome, show a great amount of respect and concern for the customer. Needless to say, our family will definitely return againsoon! Read more
Molto Bene!!! A hidden gem of SA. My first visit but it won?t be my last. I have been meaning to come here for some time and I?m... so glad I did. It?s like stepping into another era in the dining room. It?s got a classic New York Italian feel. It made me feelright at home. I loved the music soundtrack that played all the Classics you would expect. The food was really good andaffordability priced. What I really liked is it has classic family owed establishment feel. Many Italian restaurants now dayscan be pretentious and overpriced but not here at Little Italy. Just good old fashioned NY style Italian fare. I had the ChickenPiccata and it was perfectly prepared. The service was friendly and the waitress was attentive. The pizza looks really good aswell. I saw a few coming out of the pizza oven. Be sure to give them a try. Read more

I heard that @littleitalysatx had a patio and we checked it out for dinner tonight. It's been a long time since we've visited... and it's a first time for Dad. The fans kept us comfortable. My husband tried and liked the Peroni and I had the Pinot Noir.Dad had the Baked Lasagna, I had the Shrimp Scampi and my husband had the Fruta de Mare. All the food had generous servings thatwe ended up taking food home. It was all very good. We were too full to get dessert though. Maybe next time. Stacy took goodcare of us and her nephew, Cameron, did great clearing the table throughout the evening. If you're looking for Italian, consider stopping by! Read more
Family friendly and supreme customer service! We are coming from out of town and from the minute we entered we were greeted,... seated, and served with delightful service! The food was fresh and delish we ordered the four season pizza, two orders oflasagna, shrimp linguine and wine. If there was anything to improve upon I would say just a couple more min for the stuffedmushrooms, but still very good. Definitely bringing my family again. Love supporting a local dive! Read more

Chicken parmesan was sour, spagetti noodles were thick and overcooked. I ate the chicken and threw the noodles away. Salad is... small and pointless, bread was a nice order. Cook does not mask, cashier did wear mask. Read more
First time here & we had a great experience! The hostess was super friendly & we were seated right away. We were served a... complimentary sample of the cheese pizza which I thought was generous. We started with the house wine, Caesar Salad & mussels.Everything came out fast & service was great. Ordered a large pizza but couldn't finish it all- definitely recommend for 3 or 4people! Everything was flavorful, the atmosphere was festive & I can't wait to bring my family here next time! Read more
