Mydaughter and I came in and I put card in I was going to tip but I was only picking up then when I took my card out the manargued with me telling me it wasn?t a big deal and when I said I wanted to use a different card he said here simple and signedit . I was going to go tell my husband but I didn?t wanna cause a problem plus it?s a black owned business when I seen with mybank my food was 28 but my receipt says 24. Also for the price of the food you would think it would be fresh but the plantainswere really dry. Read more

Honestly I'm not the best judge of Nigerian food. It was my first time and I wasn't completely sure what to expect. My sisters... enjoyed their egusi soup. I had efo riro w/chicken. The dish had good flavor, and I'd recommend it for those who do eat Africancuisine. Service was a bit slow, but I think they were short on workers. Read more

It was soo dead in there I don't get the goodreviews on here but would not recommend as your 1st african Cuisine experience Read more

Yum! The egusi was great and the quality in the ingredients was well appreciated. The fried rice was very tasty and I like the... variety of the veggies in the rice but the rice was oily. The Jollof rice was okay/good but would have been more to my liking ifit was not a little overwhelm by the taste of tomato paste and I would have liked it more if it had at least a hint of smokinessand thymes but of course I don?t know their ingredients or style but can just explain what it taste like or what I would haveliked most. Also, I did enjoy the chicken with the rice dishes and it was not hard/dried out like some places. Overall, I wouldrecommend this place at least for take out because we only ordered to go so can?t speak on dining experiences. Read more

First impressions are everything. Today I tried this restaurant, I was extremely pleased! I ordered the Ofada stew. The waitress... was very attentive. I?m definitely not new to African cuisine, but she made sure to ask if I was familiar with the food. Thevenue is nice. The waitress explained that they also hold events on Fridays. I will be returning again while I?m in the area.10/10 recommended. Read more

Loved the taste of Lagos. Had the palm wine, origin spiced beer, egussi (crushed melon seeds) with beef tripe, beef skin and... beef and fufu. I also got the meat pie. Looking forward to returning for a comedy night. I felt very welcomed. I think I'mthe future they may show Nollywood movies. So glad they moved from Houston two months ago. Read more
