I stopped in with a group of friends for lunch on a busy Friday. Happily enough, they were able to seat us. Service was actually... quite good, and the prices are reasonable for a touristy venue like Marketplace Square. I had the George's special plate, and myfriend had a seafood enchiladas luncheon plate. I enjoyed my enchilada, rice and beans, the taco was okay and so was theguacamole dollop. He enjoyed his seafood enchiladas as well. Others enjoyed their dishes, although one did not care for theenchiladas she was served. Complimentary chips and salsa are provided, not too spicy. They offer a full range of adult beveragesand at reasonable prices. Seating is available inside and on the patio. Classic mexican restaurant in downtown San Antonio. I always get the chicken enchiladas when I come here. I never have to wait... long to get a table. Food came out pretty quickly. The chips and salsa they bring are very plentiful. Chips are just right. The mexican rice is moist, not dried out or overdone. They have big portions. My only thing would be they need a few morechoices if food. A little more variety. Waiter was friendly but needed to check on us a bit more. Read more
