I haven?t been to Krispy Kreme in forever. I went to this location on 10/15 to do the $2 dozen deal with a purchase of a dozen.... Was told I needed to do it online since I didn?t have a bar code. Was trying to make an account so I could get the barcode sheneeded since she said the online order would take awhile even know she had my order (drive through order) right there. Don?tthink I?ll be back to Krispy Kreme if this is how difficult they make doing their deals. Read more
If I could give zero stars I would. They still charged me for an online order that I placed even AFTER I called to talk to... someone from that store and told them to cancel it. Why even have online ordering available if your lobby is closed AND the linefor the drive thru is 25 cars deep into the access road? Placing an order for a certain time to be picked up and then having towait in line for over an hour just so my coffee and donuts can be sitting there and get cold by the time I finally get to thewindow? Drive through experience was meh. At 8am on a Saturday morning (prime donut consuming time) there was something like 4 donut... varieties available. Literally everything we asked for was unavailable, and so were our second choices. Ordering felt like I wasplaying battleship, until finally we were told what they did have. THEN we pull around the corner to approach the window andthere is only one person in front of us. No big deal, right? Wrong. Turns out this person was buying coffee for some big meetingor sports event or something, so we had to sit there for something like 10-15 minutes while they (I assume due to the time ittook) brewed 3 or 4 jugs of coffee for this person. Most drive through spots these days will have you pull ahead, park, andbring you out whatever if, you know, your order is gonna take a quarter of an hour and the guy behind you is just waiting on 5donuts. Not Krispy Kreme policy apparently. If I had a way out, I would have left.. The final frustration once the coffeeperson had finally moved on was the bees!!! I wish I was making this up, but there were a bunch of bees buzzing around the drivethrough window, it was pretty distressing when I had to roll down my window to make the transaction. Huge amount of respect forthe workers there having to put up with that. Hopefully none of them have allergies. Donuts were great. Read more
