This was my first visit to the restaurant and after reading some reviews, I had very high expectations. It was a Tuesday evening... and was expecting great food / great service. The food far exceeded my expectations... the food was 5-star excellent!! I had theMacadamia Nut Chicken and my daughter had the Lemon Garlic Penne. Both were fantastic!! The service however is what brought myreview down to an average rating. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer along with our main entrées. Drinks came quickly, thenour main entrées came. No appetizer to be seen. When our server finally returns for a follow-up, we politely notify him of themissing appetizer. He checks, comes back and informs us there was some sort of miscommunication in the kitchen and a fresh onewas going to be made. Thank you, no problem. Well, the refired appetizer did not show up until the end of our meal. Again, thefood was amazing and worth the cost, however, I was highly disappointed in the level of service on a week day evening. The concept is great, clean and fun environment but the service is not organized. Ordered the surf n turf and asked to add... shrimp but they brought my steak out but no shrimp until I was halfway done. We ordered a super delicious butter cake withcoffee but the Dan coffee never came! After we ate the dessert the coffee was ready but too late for coffee! The food was goodthough. Read more
This was my first time eating at Kona Grill at the mall. I definitely wasn't prepared for the parking situation, but once inside... the service was great and the food was delicious. Our server even worked with us to change our drinks to mocktails. Sometimesyou just need a good alcohol free beverage. Read more

Pros: Viktoria was an excellent waitress considering she had a table of 12 plus another table besides ours. Our food did take a... tad bit longer than normal, but it wasn’t an issue since she was very attentive at letting us know it would be ready soon. Thecrunchy spicy tuna roll was excellent and my husband really enjoyed the Poke bowl. Cons: I was exited to see that you offered aFrench dip and that it was a Kona Grill favorite. I love these sandwiches and had to try it. Unfortunately when the sandwichcame, it came with so much fat and gristle that I could have made a whole new sandwich out of it. For the cost of the sandwich,this is unacceptable. Just okay. It wouldn’t be my first choice for dinner out again. Read more
