Reviews for Kogi Korean Grill in San Antonio, TX
The sadness that I feel is overwhelming, if you have never eaten Korean food, I understand the confusion, it tastes like when... you have a friend from Korea and he cooks for you, is good but not restaurant good cause your friend is an accountant not achef. Korea is high cuisine not fast Panda Express, In fact I?ve had better food in Panda Express. 3 stars cause the server wasvery good, but the food was meh? Friday, August 12/ 2022 Read more
It's just okay but I could definitely tell it is not authentic like other Korean places I have had. The kimchee cabbage either... tasted old or store bought. It was just something close by that was convenient but I much prefer authentic. I do recognize ourserver was helping the whe restaurant alone and he did an amazing job staying on top of our drinks and order. Read more
Great little hole in the wall restaurant! I had been looking for a good Korean place since Sushi Express closed and I think I... found it! The bibimbap was super good. The sauce came on the side but I added it right in since it wasn?t too spicy. The onlyreason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is because the duk bok ki was too chewy. We couldn?t get through the whole plate because itjust took way too long to chew. Read more

Hey. Korean people, or anyone who knows Korean food. Does this look like Kimchee stew? No. it isn't. It is kimchee soup, not... stew. Kimchee stew is thicker and have heavier taste, not this. It wasn't horrible if I ate it thinking I ordered kimchee soup.Fried squid wasn't typical Korean fried squid. Spicy pork was exactly like what I make at home with store bought sauce and porktenderloin. It isn't necessarily bad but I expect more from restaurant. Read more
Very authentic Korean food, modern, each dish had a distinctive flavor, and the single server, Cory, was very professional, very... efficient and did not make us wait at all even though the restaurant was 3/4 full. Very happy we found this restaurant on thisside of town, this holds a candle to the best ones in little Korea on the East side. Don't miss the Korean fried chicken, andif you are a party of 3 or more, ask for the full ban-chan (all the sides in small plates). We had Korean udon, street tacos, soon doo bu (spicy stew), and ja yang myeong (spicy noodles), all distinctive and great flavors, accessible to San Antonianpalates yet very Korean. Read more
Good place for Korean food, the wings were spicy! The gimbap and dumblings were good, but the black bean noodles were bland.... Literally no taste except for a noodle taste. Would recommend everything except the black bean noodles. Service was okay butthen again we went again it close to closing. Might look elsewhere for Korean food. Read more
The service is quick. Got us in and out in under an hour, quite speedier than most joints. Galbi comes with three sides. Loved... the galbi and the sides. The kimbap is large. Not busy at all on a Friday night. Read more
