Excellent jem of a Thai and sushi restaurant! Had the steamed edamame, chicken satay, thai spring rolls, miso soup, yum nua, and... Kin house roll. The presentation for all dishes was a 10 out of 10! The flavor was on point, crispiness was prefect(springrolls) and hot. The beef in the yum nua sliced big but thin which was perfect sizing for the salad! The Kin house roll wasbeautifully arranged and was fresh and flavorful with a hint of spiciness. Dine in area was very clean and presentable. All ofthe staff were very friendly and polite. Kin Thai is now my go to place for Thai food. It?s amazingly delicious, super fast with huge portions. Their kin spring rolls... are so good. I used to love spring roles but now I love kin spring rolls. Their pad Thai is my got to. It?s all I ever get. Allof the flavors blend so well together but standout on their own as well. The last time I went in, I did get the firecracker rolland just like their other food, it was right on point. So fresh and delicious. I generally carry out but when I do go in, theservice is always great. The staff is always nice and attentive. Food comes out quick and very hot! It?s the hottest food I?veever had out. The lunch specials here are my current favorite quick lunch. I usually have the S2 it's a 5 piece roll and 6 piece nigiri. It's... always really fresh and the rice is seasoned perfectly. My boyfriend loves the pork belly fried rice and the portions are sohuge he can always take some home. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. Read more
We're used to going to another restaurant off of Vance Jackson that served udon soup, and the last time we went to that other... place, we finished our entrees, paid and waited another 20 minutes before our roll was finished. We eventually got tired ofthis. So, my wife and I decided to try this place out after driving passed it on our way to HEB just about every Sunday sincewe've moved to this part of town, and we're glad we did! The service was awesome. Every single one of the servers we had at ourtable were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and quickly came to our table soon after ordering, which was importantsince we were used to long waits at our other usual place. The only thing we would change is some audible music to hide theoccasional quiet and awkward silence. Other than that, it was delicious and we'll be back again soon. Read more
This was our first time visiting Kim Thai + sushi on Bulverde with 1604 and was pleased to be welcomed by friendly attentive... staff that guided us by explaining the menu. All plates arrived in an orderly manner making for a delicious sampling of distinctflavors. Good food, good service, easy to find location with enough parking makes Kin thai + sushi and ideal restaurant tovisit. Read more
Went for a Friday lunch with my colleagues. This is my first time in a sushi restaurant in USA. I was a bit skeptical but I... really enjoyed the food there. We had a sushi platter which was awesome. Then I had a mixed fried rice which was really good.Their service was good, waitress who served was helpful and courteous. They have a good collection of wine but we didn't triedany.
