Kimura used to be my top ramen place...haven't been since last year. Not sure what changed other than location but when I... visited today we didn't have the food quality I was expecting. My friend and I both had tantanmen and the broth was too SALTY.It also didn't have any creaminess or nuttiness like how traditional tantanmen is. It was hard to taste any depth of flavorsince it was masked by the saltiness. Tonkotsu ramen was pretty good but it wasn't like before (creamy and rich?). Service wasreally good though and they made sure whatever lacked they made up but I hope they do improve because I'd like to come back andtry their food again. Read more

Food was great. Vibe was great. Service was great. Overall wonderful experience. We sat upstairs and enjoyed good music with our... happy hour priced drinks and appetizers. Ramen came at a reasonable time and was delicious. Would recommend going upstairsduring happy hour. Read more

Highly recommend Kimura!! The location is quaint and the ambiance is everything! Upon walking in, we were greeted in Japanese by... the wonderful hostess, Samantha. Her warm smile and passion for the Japanese culture is contagious. The food is delicious! Wehad the miso vegan ramen, shishito peppers, shishito margarita, and cucumber salad w/ white rice! We topped off the nightupstairs at the speak easy bar for more margaritas. We?re looking forward to going back and bringing our friends and family! Read more

We were in the area on a Saturday night looking for a place to dine in. We came across this place and decided to check it out... (1st time here). As soon as we opened the door we were greeted by a super bubbly host. She gave us time to look at the menu andeven offered a few suggestions. We ordered a pitcher of Saporo on draft, which Is uncommon to find this beer on draft in thiscity. The beer was perfectly cold. The building architecture is beautiful, finished with raw brick and industrial design.Suddenly I see a chef preparing the dishes and I knew we were in for a treat. Meanwhile we find a table in the back room andenjoy our Saporo and apps. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy but the temperature in the room was warm (no ac). We didn'tmind. The music didn't match the ambience tho (metal was the genre) and a bit loud. Also, dont expected a server to come checkon you. Once you sit down you're on your own. You pour your own water and grab your own eating utensils. They'll only clean upafter you. Anyhow, the food arrived approximately 18min later. HUGE servings. The broth in the Ramen was FLAVORFUL and wellseasoned. The noodles were cooked perfectly. I had to compliment the chef and owner on my way out. The dishes wereexceptionally delicious! I will also try their other location, their pizzeria, soon! Needless to say, we had a very pleasantdinning experience! I will certainly be coming back for more delicious food!! Check them out for yourself!! Read more

This being my first time back since they moved out of their street corner location, I think the new space has done wonders for... the atmosphere of Kimura! There is more room overall for both inside and outside seating, and the less-cramped kitchen allowsfor more to get done quicker, lessening wait-times during the afternoon/evening rushes significantly. The service is as greatas ever, the staff remain delightfully friendly, and the food only gets better as time goes on. If you liked Kimura before theirmove, you'll love them at their new location! You get bigger portions when you dine in. I would say you only get around 80% of the dine in portion when you carry out. If you... carry out after 7pm, just know that you might be limited to some selections because certain items may run out of stock. Stillamazingly delicious though! I'll stop talking and let my pictures and videos say the rest. Read more
