These restaurants are scattered throughout Texas and it?s not gourmet style food. It?s good, fast and a convenient spot to fill... your belly. The breakfast is simple and the staff varies in terms of service. This place is great if you?re hungry and you?vegot places to go and things to do. Read more

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience eating breakfast there. We were sat immediately at the bar (which have very... comfortable seats). Our server was Tonya and she was phenomenal! They were very busy but she took the time to explain the menuto help us save money and get the food we wanted. We both got the Rustler?s Roundup with biscuits (which are HUGE) and we leftwith very full bellies. All the staff there were working very well together and working hard to give everyone an enjoyabledining experience. We will definitely be back! Read more

I have been to the one on I 10 and also Blanco. Customer service is just as good as the food! The place is always clean and... always service with a smile. KUTTOS to the cooks! And servers! And management for giving us a great place to eat! Crepes withstrawberries, and the grits are creamy good! Read more

First the bad, the ac must have been on the fritz because it was hot in the restaurant. Also they were closing early because... they can't get enough people to work. Our server was outstanding though. She looked really young so it was even more soimpressive. The food was some of the best we have ever had at Jim's. I don't know who the cook was but he/she did anoutstanding job. We started with onion rings. They were shoe string onion rings and I don't normally like onion rings like thatbut they were good. My wife and I both ordered the patty melt. I ordered mine on Texas Toast. It came out on rye though. Theserver immediately corrected the issue and it was hot and fresh. It tasted great. The fries were really good too and it wasbudget friendly. This used to be a great late night choice. I hope they can get the staffing issues figured out. Read more

Took six family members for breakfast. They were very busy. The food, as usual was really good & the waitress, bless her heart,... was dealing with too many tables. Looks like they're understaffed like many restaurants. Tipped her big. She certainly deservedit. Read more

Great place to get senior breakfast on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Mine was 2 8inch pancakes, a egg, and sausage patty. Our... wait person was the best. Thanks Tanya for making the service friendly, professional, and a wonderful experience. I wouldencourage you to visit and see if you have the same outcome. Read more

I was looking for pie for Pi Day and thought to call Jim's if they had homemade pies. Lynn answered the phone and I originally... asked her to set a chocolate cream pie for me. When I got to the restaurant, I saw they had strawberry pies and thought my Dadwould enjoy that more. Paul, the manager, gladly gave me the strawberry pie and asked if I wanted to top it off with whippedcream. Glad I did because the pie looked beautifully done. I shared half of the pie with neighbors and had plenty for my Dad,hubby and myself. The strawberries were ginormous! Such sweet success! Read more

Never disappoints. One of the few places I can count in to know the difference between eggs over medium and eggs over easy. The... biscuits are great, ask them to split them open and toast both sides. There was an original Jims on the triangle where Banderaand Culebra split. This was my first Frontier burger. Followed by years of patty melts, pies, fries, chili and more. And like Isaid before never disappointed. Thanks Jims for all the years. Please be patient with ALL restaurants. They are trying to bepatient with us ???? Read more
