I grew up loving this place my husband's never been he's not frm here. I took him because we live diner/comfort food. We were... both so impressed with the waitstaff attentiveness, the speed and quality of food. We had Canadian cheese soup, fried Mushrooms,bacon cheeseburger and a frontier burger. At first I was not sure how I'd feel about the decor of the place. Then I began to have the full experience. Then I warmed up to... the decor. Solid, great tasting comfort food. Went with the special (pot roast). Great bang for buck. Portions and taste weremore than plenty for the price. Server was fun to joke with. Had multiple individuals check in on me. This was our first time visiting. They were pretty busy but we got seated in a timely manner and in the best server area ever. 5... stars to excellent service. 4 stars for good food. ** Customer service ** No way to be seated, I ordered my meal as soon as I sat because I knew what I wanted. But I pride myself... on customer service. After I ordered I only saw my waitress three times. When I ordered when I got my meal and then when shebrought me the check. So you definitely know when a waitress or waiter is there for just a check? If they pride themselves oncustomer service, they love their customers. This is the reason for the 4 ? ** Food ** Again Jim's food never disappoints. Theeggs tasted cooked in the hash browns were crispy just like I like. So if you just want good food but not the best customerservice, unless you're in a big group. Because waitress and waiters usually pay more attention to the bigger group to get thatbigger tip. That's why I say you know when a waiter or waitress is there just for the money. This is my opinion. I will stillprobably dine in at other jims. First time. First time. Let me tell you. Best service from Miss Vivian. Went above and beyond for my dine in experience. Thank... you for giving us the best recommendations , on top of our refills, cleaned our table so we can get space for more food anddefinitely made us nothing but smile. I have not had this type of service in any other restaurants. Bless her heart. Please giveher a recognition for her hard work on a Wednesday night. Stopped in for quick lunch today with my beautiful wife. They were super busy, but our waitress took great care of us. I got my... usual Parmesan Chicken which was absolutely delicious. And my wife got the chili burger which she loves. All in all we had agreat experience and will absolutely be coming back.
