(UPDATE ON 11/01/2022) 4th time visiting here and the service was the least satisfied. I ordered a burger and it was too salty.... I drank water because I had to drive and more than twice my cup was completely empty and nobody cared. Staff were too busy tolook at their phone or talk to each other. I was the only customer at the bar tonight and there were not that many customerstonight. The music was great. The Daniel Dufour Quintet & Marcos Valera did a great job. I was very pleased as always withmusic but not with the service tonight. ======================= (UPDATE ON 10/27/2022) This was my third time visiting Jazz, TXand tonight's show was my most favorite one so far. It was 'A tribute to the music of Dave Brubeck' by The JazzProtagonists. They changed the drink menu. I tried hibiscus sprit and wasn't big fan of it. I didn't have food so don't know ifthey changed also. Service was so so tonight but because of the great show, I will leave 5 stars. ########### I went to seeThe Toro Flores Quintet yesterday (10/18/2022) and it was great. I went alone so I had to sit at the bar which wasn't bad. Itwas $15 but including tax and service fee made it close to $20. I tried their brisket mini tacos and it was good and price wasreasonable. Since I had to drive I didn't order any drinks but staff at the bar were filling up my water cup so many times. Iappreciate their excellent service. (Made my star goes up to 5 from 4!) The performance was quite unique and I ended up buyingone of 3 CDs from The Toro Flores Quintet and I love it! ###################################### I was here in May 2022. TheAdrian Ruiz Quintet played that night. Most of players are professors in various colleges in Texas. I didn't record lots ofplays of them this time. Drinks were great. Hope they put less ice though. took 1 star out for too much ice in my seconddrink. I believe that tickets were less than $25 per each person. Read more
The venue is cozy and lively, and the service and music are top notch. Do ask for less ice when you order their cocktails,... though! This place is perfect for a date night that you want to feel classy. Read more
Great Jazz Club at The Pearl. Gorgeous, quaint club with good acoustics. We reserved seats at the bar top, but I would get a... table next time. The service was excellent. The cocktails were different and delicious. We did not try the food, but they have agood selection to choose from. The entertainment was phenomenal. I can't wait to go back. Read more

A Jazz club in the heart of Texas…. The band Johnny and wiseguys was excellent … they were soooo good!! And Johnny the lead... singer and the trumpet player was also so funny and entertaining. ….we didn’t eat there because we had dinner before inAllora … the cocktails were good … mine with tequila was average … but i give the star for the music and the ambiance …it is really a place to visit! What an experience! The food and entertainment were fantastic. Jazz TX has a variety of music they play on different days of the... week. Buy your tickets early to get a table as the place is not very big. If you set at the bar, you will have to be constantlyturning around to see the stage. Read more
Jazz TX is a classy dinning experience with the accompaniment of talented musicians for your listening pleasure. The food is... scrumptious and very well displayed on the plate. I recommend the wedge salad and the mushroom appetizer. The steak is wonderfuland apparently the street tacos are too. The band for salsa night is always a joy to listen and dance to. Here are a couple ofcritiques for this fine restaurant to make the experience even more pleasing: 1. I recommend waiting until all guests leave thepremise before stacking chairs. When I was there, as soon as the band finished, the staff started hustling to clean. We stillhad a few items to finish on our table. It was an eyesore to see chairs stacked on tables especially since there were still atleast 15-20 patrons in the room. 2. Please add more items to the food menu or change the menu from time to time. We have foundourselves ordering the same dishes each time. Overall this please is certainly a gem in our great city of SanAntonio. Update!!! 3.15.22 ******* The menu has new items!!!! One of the best Nights we’ve ever had. My wife and I got a front row seat to see Steve Soares trio to celebrate her... birthday. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The cocktails were unique and flavorful, the food was just the same,and the band was fantastic. Overall I highly recommend this venue if you want one exciting night out in San Antonio! Just makesure to book ahead as seat fill up fast. Read more
