Stopped by after church for a lunch and ended up smiling the brunch menu instead. I gotta say the brunch burgers we had were... phenomenal! Went there twice and loved it the second time I did order a beer and never got it but they took care of me for the... inconvenience. The food was amazing and so were the drinks! The Redlands grill is absolutely fantastic! The decor, food, service was all spot on! We stated out with drinks and shot of... Buffalo Trace.. for starters we had the Tuna Stack! A one of kind appetizer fresh light and flavorful. For our meal we had steakand fries (shoestrings fries come with the steak ehh! Not the best paring), prime rib and smashed potatoes. Both were very good.For desert we had the carrot cake (that cake will make want to kiss the chef) it was warm moist but not too rich.. I should haveordered a cake to go! I ordered the French dip sandwich with fries. The sandwich was excellent and served hot. They did a great job with the... presentation. From order to arrival, it took the kitchen 18 mins on a medium traffic day. The atmosphere is great for dining. The soda tasted funny, so they provided me a refill right away. I fell in love with J. Alexander’s back in 2003 when I lived in Memphis… it was my favorite restaurant ever. I was super... excited to find this restaurant by J Alexander while visiting San Antonio.
