Looking for lunch near Downtown San Antonio and found II Forno. The place is small and cozy on the inside. We were immediately... greeted by the front of the house and walked through the various options. We split a salad and three meat pizza. The food cameout fairly quick and the ingredients were fresh. My biggest complaint was the level of salt utilized in both dishes was heavyhanded. The overall experience was good and we would come back for another visit. Read more

This is a hidden gem of sorts. The atmosphere is very chill and was surprised by the small menu. Although it was few options it... had the most popular. My food was delicious and very fresh. Found this little gem when we decided to have a shot of the moment date night and the original destination was closed. We were a... little hesitant because of the area, but we're being impressed when we left. As soon as we walked in you are welcomed by thedelicious smells and the greeter comes around the bar to greet and welcome you to the restaurant. The menu is simple but thefood was amazing.
