I would rate this place as just okay. Pancakes weren't as fluffy as other IHOPs, the bacon wasn't cooked enough, a waitress kept... going to her bag that was right outside of the kitchen and she would brush her hair repeatedly while she's chatting with anotheremployee, while servers were bringing food out of the kitchen (this happened at least twice during my visit). The bathroomwasn't clean. My waitress was super nice though. I'm hoping this will be constructive so this restaurant can improve. There'sseveral hotels in the area and it's a good place for an IHOP. What you should expect a restaurant to do. I paid them to fill my stomach with a good variety of choices to pick from, where the... hot food was hot and the cold food was cold from a sincere server that made me feel welcome while being entertained. Which aperfect. Read more
Went around 3:00 pm and there was only one waiter. There was only 2 tables occupied. The waiter took about 15 minutes to take... our order. One order was burger and fries and l swear there was 10 fries on that plate.Then never came back to see if we wasfine. Had to call him a couple of times just to get a refill on our drinks. Good food and service. I had CFS and eggs. My wife had eggs and French toast. This was the location at I-10 and DeZavala.
I wanted to be nice and not leave a bad review because the staff is nice..but very lackluster: My food was not hot, the... omelettes were missing ingredients, the hash brows were dry and hard on the top. I managed to visit an IHOP early enough to get a special deal. Instead of all you can eat pancakes, I opted for a burger The... burger was awesome and so was the server. If all you are looking for is just good food and friendly, attentive staff, this isthe place. Read more
Great experience. James (Jaymen? I think it is spelled) was super nice. I asked for a quiet space to do my work, and he gave me... a perfect spot. He also honored my quiet space by not checking up with me too much. Later, we had a chat as well (good luckwith your studies and future endeavors dude!) and I got a complimentary hot chocolate too because they were soo happy with mytable. Didn't know that could happen at ihop. Thank you for great food and experience. I ate the food and didn't take any pics,but I took the pic of the complimentary hot chocolate to remember such a kind gesture. Read more
