Finally had the opportunity to eat here. I ordered the picadillo puffy tacos & cheese enchilada plate. The rice was bland &... mushy, the enchiladas were so-so, & the puffy taco was not very flavorful. The chips were quite greasy. The charro beans & flourtortillas were very good & so was the frozen Margarita. I also tried the flan. That was also quite good. My server, Rickie wasgreat. Currently they have posted they are short staffed post COVID, but both times I have been here the service has been excellent. ... If you are craving a puffy taco or are looking to try one this is your place. Great margaritas, both frozen and on the rocks. So many margarita choices, you will find one that you will want to try. The puffy taco dinner comes with beans and rice. Irecommend the charro beans. The fajita beef, pulled chicken and crane guisada tacos were all excellent. Great flavor!!! It was busy when we went. 40min wait to get seated. Inside was clean. Waiter was friendly. The food was good. Free chips and... salsa. We ordered the queso flameado, the giant burrito, and cheese enchilada plates. I got carne guisada on mine. We wouldreturn. Read more
San Antonio Tex Mex style atmosphere and best Puffy Tacos! The food is full of flavor and made fresh to order. I love the... lemonade! The restaurant was pretty busy and the wait was no more than 20 minutes. Our waiter was courteous and very attentive.I absolutely recommend Henry's Puffy Tacos! Great chips and salsa. Then shredded chicken puffy tacos. Yum!! Added a little of the best guacamole I?ve had in a long time. ... The rice and refried beans were excellent also. Wish I lived in San Antonio just so I could eat here more often. Read more
I love a great taco/fajita salad especially in a bowl. The one I had today was a fajita bowl and it was ????????! A puffy taco... bowl!?!?! Blew My mind. Took the family for lunch today 10/17/22 our waitress was Keisha. The food was great, the menu could use clear pictures and... Keisha needs a better attitude. She seemed unhappy, tried to tell me I had a straw when we needed one more and turned her noseup at the $3 dollar tip I gave her asking ? What?s this!? With a ungrateful, unappreciated attitude. She only took our order andbrought us drinks, didn?t serve us our food( which was brought to us on cold plates instead of hot plates which is recommended)it was brought to us by another gentleman whom I should have tipped instead.
