If they would let me, I'd live at Hearthstone.....truly and no joke, but alas that is not allowed so I'll just have to settle... with eating there as much as my pocketbook will allow. I've never had a bad anything from them. My son loves sandwiches andalways orders the sandwich of the month or an old favorite. Even with questionable combinations like cranberry-pesto spread on asandwich was a great idea! It was a mayonnaise-like spread with just a hint of cranberry and it was delicious. Everything tasteshomemade and you get good portions for your money. A personal favorite is the triple chocolate Belgian waffles. You wouldn'tthink several small waffles on your plate would do the job but they do. Many places, you can order the exact meal every day andget it prepared a hundred different ways or different portions and you wonder what the heck they're doing back there. Not atHearthstone, every item is the same at anytime you order it. Consistency is the key here. I've not expanded my horizons much andI pretty much stick to the breakfast meals when I can get them, they're by far my favorite and the best. I've had the tortillasoup- delicious. It wasn't any saltier then any other tortilla soup I've had, and I've had my fair share. I've ordered thebreakfast bowl, dessert (bread pudding, creme brulee, etc) and the wedge salad- all excellent! Once, I ordered a breakfastmuffin from them I think, on an English muffin, when I got it I thought it was wrong. English muffins are small though... theprice was around $5, that's about the same as some stale, under- the -heat- lamps- too- long, breakfast sandwich from some fastfood place but surely doesn't taste the same. The breakfast sandwich was correct with fresh eggs, bacon, and cheese. You won'tfind that at McDonald's et al. I don't consider myself a breakfast connoisseur but I do know a thing or two about breakfasts.Hearthstone is reasonably priced and the restaurant is clean, bright, and well-maintained. Nice area with shaded outdoor eating. It is a mix between fast food and something nicer. Spouse had a salad which she enjoyed.... I had a turkey sandwich which was good but it was turkey loaf lunch meat, not real turkey. It is basically upscale fast food. Read more

This is one of my grandma's favorite spots for lunch after tennis. They have great soup and sandwiches and the staff is always... kind. Their patio area outside is kept clean and has a nice view of the trees and the surrounding nature. Highly recommended fora casual lunch spot! Read more

When the initial restaurant we wanted to try for the first time was too busy, our map brought us to Hearthstone. My wife and I... have never been, and we figured we'd give it a try. The weather was perfect right now for patio seating, and the sandwiches,soups and salads we ate were delicious. I just want to recommend some of my all-time favorites from here.. the portobello sandwich, bread pudding, and peach tea are the... reasons I?ve always loved this place. Ask for your bread pudding warmed! All the salads are good too :) I?m so happy to find outthey weren?t closed forever and just relocated !!! I will be back frequently for the same order every time.
