Reviews for Golden Wok in San Antonio, TX
Huge restaurant. Good selection on menu. Nice interior and outside look. Good food - just a bit slow on service!
Great food. A bit pricy for what i got. There was a long wait although there were many empty tables. I waited almost half an... hour, and I was by myself. I wouldn't have minded sitting at the bar. I got seated and it took longer than expected for someoneto take my order. By the time my food came (15 min after being seated), I was a bit hangry. Overall very good food though. Theflaky crust on the pork could have used an extra layer of something in order for it not to fall apart on first bite. The shrimpdumpling was delicious, but more expensive than the other dishes. The egg custard ratio was surprisingly off, with more custardthan expected, but still very good as a dessert option. Ate: har gau, Lai Wong bau, and cha sui so Read more
This is my favorite restaurant for Asian cuisine. I've been reading my family here for about 15 years now. Their food is... always delicious ????. And even though anytime I've gone it has been pretty busy but I've never had to wait long for a table. Plus the the koi fish pond outside is so beautiful and peaceful. You while watching it you'd forget the time anyways ????. Givethem a try if you haven't been there before. Read more

Came here for some Dim Sum on a Sunday morning after not being here for a few years. Arrived around 11a as I know how crowded... it gets. Was quoted about 45 minutes, but it was expected and you can wait in your car until they text you. As soon as you'reseated, service begins immediately. You'll have a waitress who will take your drink orders and anything else not part of theDim Sum, such as larger vegetable orders or a large order of white rice. Other than that, the Dim Sum carts will continuouslycome around. There's about 3-4 different carts with about 5-10 items on each cart. You'll have many different choices fromdumplings, meats, vegetables, buns, desserts, etc... Feel free to ask exactly what each item is and they'll explain it to you. Since Dim Sum is small portions, it's always fun ordering and trying a little bit of everything. After trying so many dishes, closed off the meal with a custard and some green tea. Food was very consistent and fresh just as I remembered it. Service wasgood and extremely fast. Tried a few different Dim Sum places in San Antonio, but this is always my favorite. Read more

This place is definitely one of best Asian restaurants I?ve been to in San Antonio. It?s worth the 20 minute drive from where I... live to come eat here. Not only is it some of the most delicious food but it comes at a great price. This time around we got totry their dim sum and it?s was mind blowing. Definitely check this place out if your in the area! Also if you have children youcan ask the check in person for food to give the koi fish. Read more
