Food not near as good as Castroville location. Buns were small, dry and hard. Service was horrible. Bottled water only -... won't give you a cup for tap water. If you want tap water, you have to pay nearly $3. for a soda cup and fill that with tapwater. Won't be returning to this location. Do not recommend. Read more

I didn't take pics. Had the original wicked wings, very tasty with the Pete's hot sauce on the table. Combo came with a side and... drink. I ordered the 6 piece and they were tiny, so you might want to order the next size if you're really hungry. My side wasmashed potatoes with white gravy. They tasted ok but were watery. Roll was delicious and I had some fruit punch from the sodamachine and it tasted like water too. Employees were nice though. I just left it alone since they were really busy. I usually purchase golden chick for lunch and get the tender sandwich. They make great lunch options but I?ve never tried their... fried chicken and I forget they can do the family meals. Well this might be the new place I go for a family meal of friedchicken. Their rolls are better than the other places you get a bucket at and the fried chicken was tender, juicy and crispyjust the way it should be. Read more

I was disappointed with our combo meals the chicken looked burnt and a lot of the crust had come off, The mashed potatoes were... runny and the rolls were over baked and by the looks of it not enticing at all. There goes our dinner and it?s really too badfor us we had been waiting for 2 days to try Golden Chick on Potranco Rd. It was my first time, therefore the spicy part is a powder sprinkled on the chicken that was interesting? Okra & the corn... fritters were my favorite! They need to add Gizzards on the menu & maybe brush some butter on the rolls as well! Sweet tea wasso so too???? the hot sauce was from North Carolina! Lol Read more
I love Golden Chicken but todays service was horrible . Chicken tenders were very salty , so much so we didn?t finish eating... them . My bf asked for 3 pc chicken and received tenders . My jalapeño was left out . Was charged for extra gravy , neverreceived . Both our fries were very small portions . Terrible ! would not go to this location anymore Read more
