No one else to blame if you didn't make the BEST burger. Every timeour son visits us from Germany he expects to be taken to the best place to eat a hamburger. One time we took him toFuddruckers on Alamo Plaza. We moved out-of-town & then returned. Our home and neighborhood is surrounded by fast foodburger restaurants. The nearest Fuddruckers is 7 miles away. Today, we drove the extra distance to eat here at their original Fuddruckers location opened in 1979 on Botts off of Hwy 410 between Nacogdoches Rd & Broadway. Talkedto the cashier and manager. Both were cordial, informative, helpful, and efficient. Nothing about Fuddrucker'ssuccessful operation has changed. Started with a fresh bun and 100% beef pattie (state size) with add ons and sideorder. What a customer requests is attractively presented when picked up from the counter. A personalized remote buzzer signals when it's ready. Now it's time to load up your burger with whatever condiments & freshvegetables turn you on. Do it yourself. My wife ordered the 1/3 lb burger with Alvarados. And I took the 1/2pounder with Pepper Jack Cheese. Our two sides were fries and onion rings. My cheese burger was juicey, tasty, anddelicious. With a senior discount the bill for two came to $21.51. Fuddruckers and I together made a GREATCHEESEBURGER. it is a special place to bring guests. Read more

Initially when i came in the parking lot it was crowded outside but when i came to the restaurant there were not many people... inside. Makes no sense??? The people who work here are very nice, they made me laugh when I ordered. Im giving this 3 starsbecause i did not feel the place was clean. It just felt very muggy and sticky. The burger came out without topping, so thereis an area where you can add tomato, lettuce, pickles and even cheese! I think i will try another fuddruckers location, becausei really liked the food.
