Outstanding, as some one who lives on the West Coast I yearned for high quality and delicious food in Texas. The Fig Tree has... meet and exceeded my expectations for Texas. It's quality fine dining that has a beautiful view of the water walk. The servicewas genuine and professional and the dessert was a dream! I have heard great things about this place in the past. I was greatly disappointed. I feel they spent more time on making the... food sound exotic than actually making the food good. Considering what was spent and what I've had in other places downtown thisjust was not worth the trip. I hope they get better or get back to where they were but I do not recommend this place as itcurrently is. Read more
5 stars all around. From the ambiance, to the location and of course the amazing food brought to us by Chef Louis and Chef... Jeremy, everything was absolutely delicious. The lamb and tuna tartare were phenomenal. We tried a little of everything and wewere happy we did. We knew Chef Louis and Chef Jeremy would bring it and they certainly delivered. Read more

We have eaten her before and we’re excited to come back for my birthday with 2 other couples. We dined upstairs and... unfortunately it was not the best experience. The tuna tartar was a bit fishy. Our main dish came out all cold. 4 of us gotthe halibut and everyone thought it was horrible. Dry and cold. When we told them that it was cold and over cooked they saidthey would just give us a dessert. Honestly we left hungry and I will not be back. Was a disappointment for my birthday. Read more
