My husband and I stopped at this restaurant this weekend for the first time. The restaurant is clean and we received good... service. We’re always going to Mexican food restaurants and this one was good. My husband enjoyed his carne asada plate and Ihad enchiladas coloradas. The enchiladas were good with queso fresco. Be very careful the plates arrive to your table extremelyhot. They had many options in their menu. We ordered a michelada and it was good not the best but definitely good. Food was very good. Everyone was pleasantly cheerful, very nice. Originally from Texas but live out of state, it has been years... since we’ve eaten here. Hasn’t changed. 2 cheese enchiladas, puffy taco, rice and beans. Read more
I’m visiting from out of town. I was starving and when my mom asked me what I wanted to eat I replied ‘some good Mexican... Food!’ So we went to Don Pedro’s. It was a Friday night and the wait was supposed to be 30 minutes, but it was only about15. We were promptly seated, our drink orders taken and chips and salsa served. (The salsa was very tasty) and I ordered myfavorite food: Carne Guisada plate. It’s was amazing! The meat was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. The rice andbeans were a nice compliment. Loved this place. It was packed for late on a Thursday but they say this place stays busy. We have the Don Pedro Special plate.... Tons of food. The chili was perfectly cooked Ina. Very light airy crust. The tomato sauce on top was excellent. The enchiladawas the best I have had in San Antonio. Salsa was very tasty. On the negative the puffy taco was bland.
