This was my first time going to this location but it also felt like a homecoming for me. The last time I went to a Cracker... Barrel was back in 2012. I forgot how friendly the atmosphere is and the really cool shop out front where you can buy all kindsof things including vintage sodas, vintage candy and what not. As for food, I had the chicken pot pie and it was the best I haveever had of that dish. Flaky and golden crust, large chunks of chicken, lots of veggies inside and cream. I was expecting aportion of the pie but instead they brought me my own personal whole pot pie! Freaking awesome. The service was great and thestaff was very friendly and knew what they were doing. The only downside I have and the reason for the 4 stars on the food wasthat their cornbread had a very unsavory after taste. It was almost as if something had been left out. Other than that, the foodwas great and the place was great too. Read more

This is the best Cracker Barrel location in San Antonio, and Sarah P. Is their best server. Sarah had served me every Saturday... and Sunday for the last 2 years, and I will gladly partake in long wait times to experience her awesome customer service. Asidefrom her knowing me personally, Sarah makes sure that my food is cooked right and that my drinks are always full. She alsooffers cost effective options from the menu if I decide to try different items. Sarah has a very comforting, soothing, andwelcoming personality, and she engages in fun conversations with her customers. It is always a pleasure to sit in her section asher enthusiasm is infectious. Always a good place to eat homestyle cooking. Breakfast all day long. Lunch and dinner menu is varied and portions are large.... Biscuits or corn bread muffins to accompany your meal. Non-stop tea or coffee. Staff is friendly. The store is well stocked withseasonal and year long items. Plenty collectible items. The sanitary facilities and maintained clean and stocked. Good place tomake a stop on your trip, or a meal to share with family and friends. Enjoy. Read more

Billy was so thoughtful. I ordered my eggs fried well done (hard) but they arrived runny. I didn't make a fuss. But Billy... noticed and even though I told him I would just eat around the runny parts, he brought me more eggs, perfectly cooked! Read more
