Food was fabulous!!! Out of Broccoli Cheese Casserole. Meatloaf, which I was craving was delicious!!! Salad was so very good.... The baby ???? tomatoes were so wonderful!!! As much as we love going to Cracker Barrel, the location on the SW loop has not exceeded my expectations from experience at... other locations. They do their best with time when there is a wait and that?s awesome. But the service I?ve received a couple oftimes wasn?t the best. One server did not check on us often enough, and one of the hostesses I?m assuming did not allow anotherto sit us in a requested spot that was empty. Moments after we ordered she sat someone at that exact spot. The reason werequested was because every time we come to this location we are sat in the family section where there are always kids and it?salways loud; that?s normal, but for personal reasons it?s reasonable to request a quiet spot that?s empty. It was just veryupsetting that our request was turned down just for them to sit someone there moments after. Besides that, the food is alwaysgood, and after trying so many restaurants fried pickles? We went back for the 1st time since the pandemic began. We were suprised that they offer beer, wine and different coffee drinks... now. They no longer offer the blackberry tea I used to drink sometimes. Peach tea is still offered though. I ordered the lemonrainbow trout and it was ok, no complaints. Partner had the chicken fried chicken. They really enjoyed it. I noticed they nolonger have the peg game to play with while you wait for your food, Probably because of covid. Everything else seems the samewhich is good. Still like browsing their store especially during Halloween. Be sure and check your bill before you pay. Partnerordered a Pabst and received a Blue Moon. They were charged for a 6 pack of Pabst @ $9.99. Manager made it right and charged forthe beer they originally ordered which is a $1 less than Blue Moon. Read more

You would perhaps think that this place could be ?Just one more? restaurant to go for a breakfast. Though, once you enter the... restaurant, you will realize this was wrong. The attention you get from the waitresses, as well as their kindness and politenessis incredible. Along with this, the overall environment of the restaurant, as well as its decorations, it is surprising. Ifyou?re looking for a place that can represent Texas, this is it, surely you can expect only country songs to be played on thespeakers! Finally, the food. One word, unique. Its taste, presentation, and quality is noticeably different, and I?d risk itsaying better. Typical Crapper Barrel, ok food and poor service. Came here for breakfast on May 30th. The table we were to sit at had food... crumbs on the table and all over the chairs. I asked the waitress for some paper towels so I could wipe everything off. Afterstanding around waiting forever, she finally came back and wiped everything down. She eventually took our order. The food wasok, nothing special, never is, no surprise. After giving us our food she disappeared. We saw her help another employee clean atable and socialize with him. Too bad she never came back to see how everything was or if we needed drink refills. We had emptycups and glasses for a long time. When she finally came back, I asked for more coffee and the check. Love Love Love! Oh my! The Sweetie potato was so good they brought it out within 7 minutes and my wife and I destroyed it! The... fried turkey with gravy and loaded tots was perfect! My wife got the breakfast ???? and blueberry ???? pancakes! The way theyshould taste! Bacon ????,sausage, eggs ???? that were so perfectly made as easy over.
