First off! What happened to good ol home style food here ??? I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel , in a while and it seem to... horribly gone downhill since , I last here . For the wait I was hoping it was going to be worth it , the biscuits came out firstin basket , they were so burnt and may I add rock hard I kindly asked for another batch , I got a side rolled eye and burnt andextra hard this time . Our food came out warm , the cheese on the tater tot’s didn’t even melt and my sweet potatoes has ahuge marshmallow , which is awesome if it was more toasted it was felt like an afterthought . Satisfying down to a T. The steak was divine, wholesome, mouth watering, and oh so delicious! Couldn't stop eating even after... everything was packed into a to-go box. The casserole, French toast, biscuits/gravy, broccoli....(etc.) The list goes on!!DIVINE!! Shoutout to our waitress, Nikki! She is definitely the go to person for a great dining experience. She was so sweetand amazing at her job, I definitely loved her company! She needs a raise! Definitely 10 out of 10. Can't wait to convincesomeone to join me on the next trip to Cracker Barrel!! I came here with my husband who really wanted some southern comfort food. He really enjoyed it but as a vegan I found there were... not many options for me to eat. Our waiter knew the ingredients of all the items so I was able to ask him if there was butter orcheese in certain dishes and he helped me find stuff to eat despite the place being incredibly busy and a Saturday morning! Igot plain hash browns (not the casserole as it has cheese and butter), fried apples and a side of multi grain toast (no butter,I asked for jam instead). So so experience, for 3 people they bring 2 pieces of bred, so what are we supposed to fight over that bread? Pancakes are just... amazing like always. We went for dinner. There were four in our group. Three people had the fried pork chops with a dinner salad and macaroni and... cheese as there sides. The pork chops had a brown gravy with a slight pepper flavor. It may be best to get gravy on the side ifyour not a big gravy lover. The meal came with two breaded and fried pork chops. The breading was just about the right amountnot too thick as sometimes breaded items are. The Macaroni and cheese was slightly overcooked and some parts of the cheese wasburnt. The other person had the meatloaf dinner. The meatloaf was pretty ordinary as meatloaf goes. It comes with either two orthree sides and is priced accordingly. The sides were carrots and green beans. They both were from a can. They were edible butnothing extraordinary. They had closed off a portion of the dining area. This made the tables too close together for us giventhe recent rise in covid cases. They were not very busy and the service was a little slower than expected. The dinner saladscame out at same time as the meal. The meal got cold while trying to eat the salad. I would recommend asking for the saladbefore the meal is brought out. So the plate looked really yummy! The biscuits of course were awesome! But..... the grease from the grilled chicken was too... much. It was a puddle of it that got on the rest of the food, making it all brown. Plus, there was a tiny hair in the mashedpotatoes ????.... I didn't mention it to the server, but I did tell them when I paid. She was just like, "oh, that's why Ialways get the chicken separate, and you could have asked for another mashed potatoes...."
