Reviews for Cibolo Moon in San Antonio, TX
The dinner was really good and the brunch buffet is awesome. Great service and a beautiful environment.

Service was outstanding. Very accommodating. Their buffet is for all types of diners. Something for everyone!!!! We had... breakfast, lunches and dinners here. The buffet is $34 American for an adult and $15 American for child. Not one complaint. Read more
Was excited to try this restaurant during our stay but sadly it left a bad taste in our mouth. Our service experience was... HORRIBLE. Our waiter flat out ignored us and we had to flag him down for basic service. Never once check in on our table to seehow the food came out. (Pretty standard customer service you?d think?) We were like maybe it?s just him. Nah he served the tablenext to us that came in later just fine. So weird. Dinner was ok. Nothing to rave about. After reading the other reviews I?mnot surprised about the service we received. Read more
The service is phenomenal and our waiter, Leo, was the best! Super friendly and attentive! Their homemade buttermilk biscuits... with strawberry jalapeno infused jam was savory! The Saturday buffet was worth every dollar-prime rib, salmon, ribs, etc. Theirpastries were elegant and tasty! Read more
The first night I came here, it deserved 4 stars. Service was exceptional. Tried to go to 18 Oaks, party of 1, and was told they... had no openings. Uh ok, for a party of 1??... Bye. Cruised over to Cibolo and was seated right away. Server was wonderful, Ibelieve his name was Richard. There was also a pleasant manager walking around, I think his name was Ethan. All aroundimpeccable service. Food was good, but not great. Biscuits with spicy strawberry jalapeno jam, delicious! Interesting tequilamartini which was good. Mac n cheese was a little lackluster. Shrimp was a little overly salty and grits were a little bland, but together they were good. As a whole nice little hotel restaurant with nice views. Update... Came back again and it wasdisappointing. Food was better, but the service was rough. We were seated at 810. We didn't get our meal until 940!!! Just aparty of 4, nothing crazy. I get it they also had some larger parties due to the conference, but honestly we waited a while toeven get our table and then to have to wait that long for food. I mean chips and guac took like an hour+ minutes which is insaneto me (we ordered it at the same time as the drinks). Also my husband got the tequila martini and tonight it looked wildlydifferent than the one I had two days ago. We got no biscuits at all. We honestly asked to cancel our order at one point andthey couldn't even commit to cancelling our food so we could try to go elsewhere. Overall the service at the restaurants havebeen really tough for such a nice resort type hotel. Not sure if it's staffing issues due to covid or what, but highlydisappointing. Read more
Amazing food! Ended up eating here both nights and it was all so good. Burnt bits and the quesadillas were our favorites. Also... MUST get the cookies for dessert! Removed a star since the first night we had to wait about an hour and a half for a table withTONS of tables available. Not sure if due to covid or understaffing at the restaurant. The second night we ordered cookies andit took about 20 minutes to get. Apparently there was a printer issue our server was trying to figure out, but not sure why hewas doing it. Luckily the food made up for the service struggles! Read more
