Came thru drive up today 11/1 around 1:20 to purchase tender Tuesday plus an extra 4 pc with gravy and roll. Got home with 16pc... (2pcs which were tiny nuggets) and my 4 pc did not have the roll. I haven?t even eaten at this place yet but I can tell you right now I already don?t recommend it because the manager is so... beyond rude. I called and asked a simple question ? are you hiring? and she would not answer yes or no she just kept on tellingme that ?well..need to fill out an application so that way I can get a chance to call you about that?. I was being very politeand I said Okay I was just asking because my little brother just turned 16 he?s looking for his first job so we?re just tryingto help him out and she immediately responded with ? well then he should be calling me NOT YOU? which is probably true but whenyou are listening to me and I?m being polite I?m telling you this is his first job and as his big brother just trying to helphim out there?s simply no reason to be so rude not to even mention how rude she was in the very beginning by not answering myinitial question. so not only do I recommend not eating here because the chicken is trash anyways you can get better chickenelsewhere anyways but I also recommend not working here because I can?t even imagine how she treats her employees. Went to Bush's Chicken on Nacogdoches Rd in San Antonio TX on 10/10/2022. Been going there for years (Since its opening). Well... on this day I put my order in I showed them my Military ID and I was informed that they don't offer Military Discount onindividual pieces (which I have done for years). I was informed by Management it only applies to Meals. Do not miss understand,I am very grateful that offer a discount (It is their businesses, they do not have offer that perk). So I was going pay the fullprice (No Biggie), Broke out my Credit Card and (this is the kicker) I was informed that they now Charge 10 percent service Feeon Credit Card transaction. Even if it was 3,5 or 7 percent, that is a bit much for a big corporation. I can see a "Mom and Pop"store doing this, but a Big Company ? Anyway, that is this Former Jarhead Opinion. So disappointing. Bush's use to be our go to for take out. Quality and customer service was hit or miss but nothing that was so... bad that we wouldn't go back. Then they took their prices off the menu and I swore I wouldn't go back. How do you order food andnot know your total until after you've paid for it? NO WHERE ELSE DOES THIS. You can ask for a paper menu which is inconvenientand who knows it those are actual prices until after the fact. Well tonight we needed something quick and my husband stopped forthe kids. NOW on top of not knowing the prices I'm being charged 3% for using my debt card. I get the receipt and was over $17for a 6 piece tender meal and an extra order of fries. Ridiculous $17 for one meal. Their chicken is nothing fancy..these friesare nothing fancy..rolls yep nothing fancy. Definitely not worth $17. No thank you. Not again! Read more
I am extremely disappointed with my order & the prices are ridiculous! I ordered a 2 pc tender and got a total of 3) 2 inch... sized pieces of mostly batter. I called the store and the manager said it was normal and there was nothing they can do about it.I won't be back because its definitely a rip off and now they have a 3% credit card service charge. Dry chicken tenders,extremely watery gravy,mashed potatoes had so much pepper yiu couldn't taste anything but that and... lastly...the rolls.Picture included to see for yourself what was included in this particular roll.I will say the girl who tookour order was extremely friendly and polite but I just don't think that's enough to go back.
