I think I should mention that I am a *very* easy person to please and I usually only review places that I thoroughly... enjoy. However, this place was mediocre in almost every way. I felt like I wasted my money. The beer was no good and the foodwas overpriced and uninteresting. On top of that, we arrived 10 minutes before the happy hour ended and they refused to give usdrinks at a reduced price because we arrive "too close to the cutoff". This place is in a wonderful location and could be a SanAntonio hidden gem. It just misses the mark. My advice is to just go to Stella or Halcyon instead. Read more

We went to Blue Star Brewing Co. for lunch. The beer is great and the service was excellent. Ask for Ashley when you go there,... she was an excellent server. We had the Belgium double, called "Fun Fun", it was excellent. Then Ashley recommended theBarnstormer Quad. It was probably one of the best beers I have ever had. I had the super nachos with brisket. My wife had saladand soup combo. This was an especially excellent lunch excursion. I would highly recommend Blue Star Brewery for both their foodand especially their beer. Read more

My only issue was the lack of parking here. But the atmosphere is quite pleasant, especially on the patio. Super casual... environment and a nice quaint view over the riverwalk.
