Reviews for Bill Miller's Laguna Madre Seafood Company in San Antonio, TX
The location at 1227 NE Loop 410 had EXCELLENT customer service! The food was really good?first time to try this place. The crab... cakes appetizer was really tasty, generous portion with lump crab. The cod was dense and flakey. Golden fried. The side disheswere also really good?Bill Miller green beans, big chunky fries with a nice soft crisp on the outside and mealy on the inside.Hush puppies were soooo good! But the best part was the front crew: the cashier was patient, helpful and attentive. Veryaccommodating to new customers (not just us, but others)?and the two waitstaff/busboy runners were so polite and friendly?likewhat you?d expect at a high end restaurant. We stopped here for a quick bite but got a nice dinner out. Thanks, Laguna Madre NE410! Keep up the good work! We will be back! Read more
Food fried but not greasy. Very good flavor. Cod and shrimp very tasty. Want to go back and try grilled version and fish tacos.... Staff and manager came by table a couple of times to see if needed anything and check that all was fine. Had a full restaurantthat day also. Great food and service!! Read more
This was my first visit to a Laguna Madre, though I am familiar with the parent company Bill Miller's. My expectations were not... high as Bill Miller's food in my opinion is very basic and uninspired. However I will admit this is a very solid choice for somequick and reasonably good Seafood. They have your typical shrimp, fish fillets, fries, soft drinks, and such so I won't say it'sanything new but the food I ordered was actually pretty good. My biggest plus for this place comes from the employee who helpedme. His name was Xavier and he was very helpful. I had a few questions about the combo meals and he was very kind and gavehelpful suggestions. Also this location is relatively new, and so far I feel has been well maintained. The dining area was cleanand organized. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick meal. Read more
The fish & shrimp combo was an excellent value for under $10. It was fulfilling and there was a good selection of side options.... I chose the creamy coleslaw and mac/cheese both were a good compliment to my meal and very tasty. Overall the staff wasfriendly, food was cooked hot & fresh to order, and the wait was minimal. I would recommend this location for fast, fresh andeconomically priced seafood. Read more
Service was just a little slow but the fish tacos were very tasty. I especially enjoyed that the tortillas were handmade.
Not a good time to come! Wait time was long and plate was terrible. The fish was over cooked. Shrimps were super tiny and no... bread or hush puppy on my plate. My husbands tacos came with the sauce in the side but at least the fish tacos were good. Theykept telling us sorry we are out of stuff. We still paid full price and didn?t once say ?sorry we are out of money? I know timesare tough to staff employees but when you really are looking for consistency and don?t get it. Ugh? Read more

My husband and I had never been even though I've lived in San Antonio my entire life. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was... delicious. I love the batter that they use on their fish. The garlic bread was perfect with the dish. Read more
