So, this is the best Laguna Madre i have been to and will keep coming. And yes it?s on the south side of San Antonio. I have... eaten here several times and believe me the service is always great and food is awesome. I will travel 14 miles from where Ilive just to eat here when I?m craving fish. Have been to other Luguna Madres and they do not compare. Kudos to the managerrunning the place and crew working there. Great sea food, I ordered lemon pepper grilled cod with shrimp and it was good. They did get my order wrong but the manager... quickly made it right. The manager had his crew on point and the restaurant was clean. I commend him for that. Good job Manager!And great job with the helpful staff as well! I'll be back for sure! Read more

Went to have dinner, I ordered 2 piece lemon pepper cod plate, the fish I got looked like one piece cut in half and the baked... potatoe was hard and brownish looked like it was over cooked. For the price I pay for this meal it should be worth the price.The last time I went they never brought me my bake potatoe, I finished My meal and still no baked potato. This evening we were invited to Laguna Madre for dinner by my friend Gloria Aguilar. We arrived at about 8:30 and she and I... ordered the #1 Fish and Shrimp Combo with an extra piece of fish. My husband ordered the Chicken Strips. We were the only onesthere, except for a man waiting for a to-go order. Our order took about 15 minutes. When we got our food, the fish pieces wereskimpy and overfried. The hush puppies were rock hard and the bread was cold and hard. The chicken strips were thin and hardas well. I was very disappointed to see our food as my friend's tab was over $54.00. I ordered pumpkin pie which I neverreceived. My friend asked to have her food redone and the girl at the counter said they would do her order over. We waiteduntil 9:15 and her plate never came. I finally went to the counter to speak to a man I thought might be the manager. I askedhim if her order was ready and he looked at me blankly. I told him the young lady said my friend's order would be re-done andhe responded, "I wasn't informed." I explained that my friend's food was overcooked and he said, "I can see it from here",never bothering to see the food for himself.
