Terrible salad. It used to be good. The chicken was way too peppery and they didn't listen to what I said. I didn't get the... ranch and apparently they put no ranch dressing. I said YES. Not worth $9 bucks. I will just go to HEB to get a cheaper saladwith the best QUALITY! Read more

Tatyana was very nice and the manager Brittany was very professional. Lots of space to eat and food was delicious. We had the... rancher plate, quarter chicken delight and small bbq chicken sandwich and chicken strip order. They brought us a crispy sandwichwhich wasn't what I wanted but replaced it right away. Bill Miller is a classic. Always good and consistent, not to mention affordable. Hard to beat! The cafe is more on the... casual/fast food style, because they’re pretty fast. They’re breakfast tacos are great, my favorite is the marble brisketand I mix it with a potato and egg with cheese and BOOM! Also, have you heard of fried chicken and pancakes? Where to start with this train wreck? Turns out the "vegetable beef" soup cones with rice UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY REQUEST "NO... RICE". And the employers will not mention that. It was very very quiet when I walked in - only one occupied table. A quietrestaurant at 10:30am on a Sunday is a major red flag. No one was at the counter and it was several minutes before someone cameto the front. (Where was the manager?) The person who finally came to take my order appeared to be high school age, and sheacted like she was resentful at having to work on a Sunday morning. She rested her forearm against the counter and leaned on itas though she was having trouble standing without assistance, although she had no trouble walking unassisted. I placed myorder. which included a quart of their highly touted vegetable beef soup, then went to wait for my eat in order as well as thesoup. Checked my receipt and noticed "rice" listed under the soup, even though I had not requested it and it was not listed asone of the ingredients anywhere. So went up to the counter and asked why rice had been added to my soup. The checker told merice was added unless a customer specifically asked for no rice. I asked why she hadn't told me rice was an ingredient since itis not listed anywhere. She started glaring (yes - glaring) at me, so I asked for the manager. The manager turned out to be avery young make who seemed to be afraid of the checker. (she was quite overbearing and acting as though SHE ran the store. Ipointed to the security camera over their heads and asked the manager how long security footage was kept. The checker's eyes gotwide and the manager looked nervous, which is not a normal reaction from people who have been doing an honest day's work. Hesaid he did not know how long it was kept, so I said I would be calling corporate to get that answer. It is no use bringingissues to a manager when that manager is part of the problem.
