Very dissatisfied with the salads at all Bill Miller locations, especially the one on 1604/281. I have been a long time... customer. You Pay $9 for a salad and they are very skimpy. I have complained about this in the past but nothing has changed andthey are still the same. I have recently tried the salads at Moe?s barbecue and there is no comparison. Moes barbecue saladsare full to the top with lots of lettuce tomatoes and cheese. Chicken on the side. They are delicious!! I am no longerpurchasing salads from Bill Miller. Food is always consistent in quality. My trouble with this store location is that 85% of the time that we have ordered delivery... or gone through the drive through, they have gotten something wrong with our order. I?ve grown tired of calling up there tospeak with the manager, as it seems NOTHING is done about correcting the issue. The people working the line, filling orders donot read or count, I?m convinced. I will avoid using this restaurant from now on, and drive a little further to satisfy my 14 yrold boys request for their tenders. Read more
This was a bit odd. This is the first time in a long time that the service was not what I expected. The individual that took my... order to go was not having a good day. I asked how she was doing and all I got back was ?name?. I thought it was me but the samething happened to the person behind me. If you are having a bad day that is ok it happens but you should not bring it to work. Just my opinion.. Read more
Tried new sausage egg biscuit... Biscuit could be cooked a bit longer, less egg a bit soggy, other than that I ate a sausage... potato taco very good! My son ate 4pc chicken tenders good too. Read more
This is not Bill Miller's fault, but if you're using Apple Maps to this location you may miss the turn. Now, this is my first... visit to Bill Miller's, and I decided to take a chance because it was quite hyped by friends and family for over a year. And Ididn't notice until today, but Bill Miller's is everywhere in San Antonio. I suppose this means that it's very popular. On thisvisit, the food was okay. The brisket was delicious, but I think at this point, making good brisket is becoming more commonplace. I've tried Granzins, Rudy's, Texas Longhorn Steakhouse, and home made stuff down in Laredo. If you cook that brisket slowand low with the right spices, you can get a good result reliably. It takes skill, of course, so I still want to give props tothe brisket here. However, the rest of the plate was pretty underwhelming. The sausage was just fine, but the gravy, hashbrowns, Mac n Cheese were pretty unremarkable. I think maybe it's a style preference, or a result of mass production, but thosesides were bland. The mashed potato, sorry that was a real mistake just now, I meant the hash browns* were soft and didn't haveany of that classic crispy texture you'd look for in a hash brown. Maybe this is a style choice, but it didn't work for mepersonally. The staff was nice. They bring your food out to your table, and the utensils and condiments are self serve. Thebathroom could've used some attention, even though there was plenty of staff available during our lunch hour visit, but it wasneat that they have a UV sanitizing hand dryer in the bathroom. I would go again, but maybe to a different location. A friendtold me that some of the older Bill Miller's have a better vibe. Oh and I would try something that's not on their combo menu. Read more
I hate when you order through the window and the service isn't the same as when you eat in the location. I drive away only to... discover once I get home that not only was there a hair in my food, there was very little egg in the egg tacos, and the orderwas incorrect. Because the order was 10 tacos, I didn't assume I had to open each and every one of them individually to check ifthe egg and bacon tacos actually had egg. I like the barbeque sauce and sweet tea. The brownies are good, too. When the rolls are fresh they are good. Seriously, I... like the food at Bill Miller's. Been a customer for years. I wish I could buy a bottle of the barbecue sauce. The pies aredecent. The lemon meringue pie is a family favorite. Read more
It was my first time eating earing here on my way out of town. It was fabulous and delicious. Shrimp for me is where its at!!!
