The hummus flight was good as was the greek salad and gyro. They ran out of some of the hummus flavors and didn?t have basic... condiments like ketchup for fries or lemons for iced tea. The service was not great and we had to get our own drinks and tellthe waiter our food was ready. There was more concern about cleaning the restaurant than serving the few people in therestaurant. Oh the Na?an! Let?s just start there. Warm, soft, seasoned with oil, garlic, basil and other seasonings. That amazing Gyro... with huge chunks of tomato, cucumber, green peppers and romaine. Wonderful traditional gyro meat and the Tzatziki was rich, creamy, full of dill & cucumber. The rice was flavorful too, and was served yin/yang style nestled sided by side. Just awonderful visit with great service. Wish I could have relaxed and enjoyed more, but I was in a time crunch. Read more

Dad had an afternoon appointment in the Medical Center so we decided to stay in the area for dinner. I had been to @basil.texas... before with a friend and so it's first time for Dad and my husband. We were given the complimentary naan and dipping saucewhich was feta, oil and seasonings. It was so hot and fresh and huge! Dad and I shared the Lamb Shank and my husband had theLamb Osso Bucco. Both were tender and came with a side salad and rice. There was enough lamb shank to take home with the naan.We didn't have room for the Baklava but it was good the last time. Ashley took good care of us throughout the meal. Next timemight try the whole Branzino. The outdoor seating is pretty sunny for dinner. We were at the only table that was in theshade. Come and check it out! Read more

The food here was very good. The meat was tender and flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. My wife enjoyed the... falafel but says she has had better. Everything else was great. I read a few reviews stating that the portion sizes were smallpersonally I thought they were spot on. Just the right amount of food I was full but not overly full. I would like to say thatthe to-go containers were great and kept the food hot. I will be trying this place again for sure. Read more

Everyone needs to come and check this place out, today! Some of the absolute best Mediterranean food I have ever had. We... visited for dinner and were served a complimentary salad and the absolute best naan in all of San Antonio. There are severaldipping options for the naan, even some off menu, but I was happy with the oil and feta that we were given (not pictured causeit was devoured instantly). Our main dishes, I got the beef koobideh, we?re also delicious and filling. I could definitely tellthat the meat was cooked to order. Lastly, order the green spicy sauce. You won?t regret it. I loved the environment. Good place to eat with friends. Convenient just around the corner. Pictures are louder than words so... you can judge yourself. I had the chicken kabobs with the mixed appetizer. I asked for salsa and they had it. I will be havingeggs with the pita. Will definitely be back here. Read more
