Super friendly and inviting service. Got the two meat plate with brisket, ribs, creamed corn, green beans, and an extra side of... coleslaw. Everything was wonderful. Brisket was tender and the ribs were pretty meaty. Great flavor on both. Sides werefantastic. Also got a Texas Royale cookie for the way home. So good, but that might've been a mistake. So filling. I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while just never had a chance. But tonight was the night and a couple of... friends join me as well. On the south side of San Antonio it was a larger building that I thought it would be. Located directlyon a main road, plenty of parking and the drive-thru has a lot of room for cars as well. Small waiting lobby once you go insidethe door and then you get in line to head up to the cashier to take your order. Three cash registers were working last night tomake things move fairly quickly. I chose the two meat plate with sausage and brisket, pinto beans and fries. My friends shared asampler plate with turkey brisket sausage and chicken and a couple of sides. Good size dining area not as big as I thought itwould be. People that always told me you wanted to beat the dinner crowd on a Saturday night and I'm certainly glad we did. Bythe time we were leaving the line was out the door. My brisket and sausage were very good each had a good taste to it goodportion of meet. My friends also said the same thing about their sampler plate. Overall the two meat plate with two sides ofdrink and I bought three cookies for dessert came to $25 total. Definitely recommend this barbecue restaurant if you're livingin San Antonio or if you're visiting it's an easy drive to the location. May give it another try in the future to try some otherchoices. 5 stars for being delicious ! Went in on a Sunday with a group of 9 around 1 and the line was almost to the door. I figured that... must be a very good sign. Didn't take long at all to seat us and the wait wasn't long either for the food. Everything tastedreally good. Only weakness was no refills for soda, it was an extra dollar for a small cup of soda. Super delicious local Smokehouse. Imo the best bbq San Antonio has got to offer. The sausage is the star for me, so juicy and... full of flavor. The brisket is also so tender, melting on your tongue! I'd come back if I'm ever in town. Food goes quickly. Wegot there at 6:30pm for dinner and the pork ribs are gone! Read more

Our first but definitely not the last time here. Everything was incredible and I am very particular about my portions and my... flavor when it comes to BBQ. This place exceeded ALL my expectations. The portions were a good ?manly? size. The flavor wasperfect. I tried a little bit of everything and not one item was mediocre. Every item was perfect. Definitely a must try. Love this place! I have two under 5 so going out to eat and sit down somewhere can be a task and this place really makes it a... breeze. Their booths are roomy and TALL, free refills on tea and water, plenty of high chairs with STRAPS and kid friendlyoptions on the menu, you pay and order at the beginning too.
