Two key things every GOOD Mexican restaurant needs: homemade tortillas and homemade salsa. Angel's has both, and they're... delicious! The food was very good, and the environment was overall diverse and enjoyable. I'd definitely go again. Read more
Second time going and they must have a different cook or what I ordered the first time was not a specialty. Everything was... authentic and flavor was there. Not a taste of reused grease/oil. Fresh beans and potatoes and the tortillas are on point. Read more
Went for lunch with my co-workers. This place had great food and it all tasted really good. It did have a lot of people inside... the restaurant. I've already been there twice. Both items I gave bought have been delicious. One thing I should of got was thepork chop plate that my coworker got. It is 2 large pork chops that are deep fried. I got to taste a small piece of it and italso tasted delicious. Read more
Pretty good tacos at this place. They are a decent size. Great flavor. Good price. We got bean and cheese and carne quisada... tacos. So I would imagine their other food options being really good. Will definitely try this place out again. Read more
Hadn't been since before the pandemic shut everything down. We came in and ordered breakfast tacos and the "pork chop" taco that... they are well known for. Your "basic" tacos are prices a little higher than your average breakfast taco price. If you opt toorder a "meat" taco, anticipate a higher price for that as well. I ordered a basic "picadillo" taco and it was $1.99. The carneguisada was about $2.49 and it contained about 6 pieces of meat with some gravy. After a short wait time, I would've expectedthe tortillas to have been a little warmer as well as the contents of the tacos. The bean and cheese taco was not priced at thenormal going rate of between 79 and 99 cents a taco. The pork chop taco is prices for what it is and I'm not going to statedifferent. If you're gonna spend the time getting that taco, then order it " a la mexicana. " I ordered the iced tea in a to gocup, and overall my bill came out just right under $7.00. (For breakfast tacos, not a plate.) I'm more than sure that the pricefluctuations are/were due to COVID-19 but, maybe looking back and readjusting the prices for the "standard basic" tacos mightnot hurt. Read more
The food at this place is authentic! Definitely feels like abuela is cooking the food. I ordered the chicharron guisado with... beans on a homemade corn tortilla. I got this taco with chicharron egg, bean and cheese instead. I didn?t order egg, but I waslike whatever, maybe this is their style. It?s really good food! Read more
