Many years ago I went to the original Alamo Drafthouse in Austin and was impressed but this one here in San Antonio blew me... away. Place was clean and the seats were very comfortable. Drafthouse will forever be my favorite movie theater. It becomes another experience when you watch a movie here, especially with... the movie parties and special events. The staff is incredible and fast despite having to sometimes serve so many people indifferent theater rooms. The food can be a bit pricey, but very delicious, and I love that they make little themed menus for newmovies and special screenings. This theater is kept pretty clean whenever I visit and will keep coming back for sure! Read more
Came here to watch the movie Elvis. The theater was clean and didn't have any foul smells like some of the other theaters do.... Ordered a draft beer which was ice cold and a margarita which was actually good. I was craving some wings but unfortunately theyno longer serve them here. Instead I ordered the grilled chicken burger and loaded fries. Service was a little slow but the foodwas delicious. Overall a good experience. Read more

This theater was ok. As someone who remembers the old days when this commercial area across from NorthStar was terrible and had... almost nothing, I was pleased to come here and see this place. The building architecture is nice, and the inside is nice with abar right when you walk in and nice old diner style seats in the lobby area. The theater seating is not its strong suit. Theseats do not electronically recline. How a movie theater chain gets away with this today is beyond me. They have those seatswhere you sit and they automatically lean back whether you want to or not (very uncomfortable). The little side tables werenice, but a lot of water stains (people don't respect wood), and they did not have coasters to protect them. They did not seemwell-maintained. My biggest issue is they don't have candy. Some people (like me), go to the movies to eat candy--somethingthey rarely eat otherwise.I was sad about this. The server was fairly attentive. The non-candy offerings were good. I thought ita bit odd that they don't have the menu and ordering integrated into an app (I assume that is the case since I was not directedto an app on my phone). But that is probably to maintain the movie theater/no phone experience. But let's be real--I would beshocked if most moviegoers did not ignore that admonition. Read more

It's a nice movie theater. I wished the seats could recline. The food service to your seat definitely makes this place different... than most other theaters, but unfortunately they forgot about my food on this visit lol Staff apologized and brought it lateron. I wished I could had taken a picture of it but since the movie had already started I wasn't able to. I ordered the Flautasand would definitely order again if we go back! Read more
Had not been here since before the pandemic. They do a really good job of keeping the experience great. Theres nothing worse... than being in a place where people are talking loudly to each other or on the phone. The servers were attentive and courteous.They were able to recommend a drink when asked with little information in us trying to be quick. Definitely missed this placeand glad to be back Read more
