I?ve gotten fish tacos at other restaurants before and they were ok. I can?t think of a time though when I?ve bitten into a fish... taco and said, wow this tastes really good! That was my reaction to Alamo Cafes fish tacos. They had this really nice crunchytaste to the fish, mixed with the seasoning that made it taste really good. **Read till End** This place is bigger than I expected and had an amazingly beautiful scenery with benches and cut grass. The... waitress made sure our chips were full. I am enjoyed the meal, the portion size was filling. I thought I wasn't gonna get fullbut I did. Being a foody person, I enjoyed it all. Customer service was on point and they were willing to accommodate my needsfor lemons and any requests I may have had. If you have a family and would like a nice place to go and eat. I would recommendthis place as a choice for lunch or dinner. No breakfast at this location. I was a bit disappointed but all in all great place.An omelette might make choice selection pretty easy for some. But that's my recommendation. I had the fajitas trio. 1st time visit was well worth the wait, when we came on Sun for dinner around 630pm. We had a 45min wait, but was well worth it.... We had Raquel as our waitress she was Amazing. Very helpful, professional, friendly with our table. Read more
Visiting San Antonio and went here for dinner. It's a very cute restaurant with great indoor and outdoor seating. Their mango... margaritas are decent. I really enjoyed the shrimp enchiladas and the beans. I'm very picky about rice so it wasn't myfavorite.... too much tomato flavor. But the rest of the food was great and the tortillas are addicting. The waitress wasamazing and attentive. She was kind enough to bring extra tortillas which we appreciated. Read more
Not gonna lie, this place has the best tasting tortillas around!????????BUT..The Mexican rice was absolutely horrible hard as... rock and no flavor. ????????????????????????the black beans had good seasoning but no salt. Lots of people were not eating therice I noticed.Chips and salsa with queso were good, but not great tasting. The shrimp enchiladas had very little cheese and notgood tasting at all.????????????????????????Then if you go to the bathroom there it's not very clean and broken mirror.
