The service and food were both excellent. Christopher provided regular service and his suggestions were on point. The buttered... tacos sounded ok but they were delicious. The shells were crispy and meat was full of flavor. He suggested the cilantro saucefor the enchiladas & I asked for a side of it to try it. O my goodness it was amazing. I would highly recommend getting it..on anything. I put some of it in a taco and it made the buttered taco even better. I then had some on a chip & it was just asgood. If you get a margarita, go for the top shelf. It's just the right amount of hard liquor and makes it even moredelicious. I will definitely return here! Read more

Had lunch here yesterday and the food was Great!!! Beth was the hostess again and Destiny was our server! Excellent customer... service!! Will definitely return again and would definitely recommend. I had grilled chicken with creamy sauce on the side andMexican rice and refried beans. Hubby had Beef enchiladas with red chile sauce, refried beans, Mexican rice and tortilla soup.We also had tortilla chips and salsa. Since I was in the area near this place, I decided to try out their food. This is a verywelcoming and hospitable place. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the lady at the register. She offered me cold waterwhile I waited to order. She stated all the food there was authentic Mexican food and tasted good. I ordered 2 Big Shot Burritoswith ground beef, Mexican cheese, refried beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, Mexican Crema, an order of Chile-Lime Fish Tacos andan order of Flan. Each Big Shot Burrito were enough food for 2 people. The Chile-Lime Fish Tacos came with cilantro rice andblack beans. This is the best tasting authentic Mexican food my hubby and I have ever had. The food was well seasoned and theportions were ample and the prices were very reasonable. The Manager was very kind when I added the flan after the fact. TheWaiter came out with my food and stated he double wrapped the black beans and to be careful they were placed on the side of allelse in bag. He even offered to walk with me to carry out order. We have just found the best locally authentic testing Mexicanfood here in San Antonio, Tx. Will definitely return again and certainly recommend to others. The wait for orders was veryquick. The food was excellent. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend. Read more

First time visiting this place. Didn't think much of it from the front appearance since it is in a strip mall, but walking... inside its another world. Food was great and well portioned. Also the michilada I ordered was on point. They have a large patiothat's misted. Unfortunately they don't allow dogs. Definitely worth a return visit. Read more

Compared to the chain Mexican restaurants in the San Antonio area, this restaurant is great. Decent salsa, great fajitas, soups,... and margaritas. Service is always spot on and the one time it wasn?t the waiter was very kind and apologetic. I would recommendordering a side of creamy cilantro or poblano to go with your meal (especially fajitas) because they are fantastic! Read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the Sunday Brunch Buffet at Ajuua. The food was really good and the buffet setup was perfect. It... was great to see the staff on point consistently bringing out fresh food to keep customers happy. Our beverage server was veryattentive and polite. The only grip I had was with the hostess. Her mind was definitely not on her job. She seemed forgetful andclueless. Other than that grip, I had a fun time. I would certainly recommend you try Ajuua. Read more

This place is actually pretty awesome! The food is really good and tasty! I had the robs enchilada and it was really creamy and... tasty. The side french fries was also crunchy for the Mexican torta. The servings is huge and decent, food is not salty, justright. The only thing I would comment is the drinks, i think $10 mango margarita is pretty expensive for what it is. It?s thesimplest margarita yet i think the price is pushing it but they do have specials on mondays and tuesdays so i guess those dayswill be more worth it. Read more
