Nice space, well-prepared veggies, a little pricey (3 / 5 Green Stars) Overall, a good experience here although it was a little... pricey for a casual post-hike meal. We had the crispy smashed potatoes ($12) grilled flatbread ($7) with baba ganoush ($4),roasted eggplant ($21) the burrata panzanella ($21), and a Drake?s English amber ale ($8). If ordering again, I would skip theeggplant ? it was fine but not that memorable. Pity, because it?s the only vegetarian option among the main courses. The burratapanzanella was good but, like the eggplant, a tad expensive. The potatoes and flatbread were solid, although I would trysomething other than the baba ganoush next time. Service was friendly and efficient and the space is attractive andwelcoming. I?m giving Kientz Hall 3/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, for these reasons: ? Of the shareplates, 6 are vegan and an additional two are vegetarian. Only one out of the main courses was vegan/vegetarian, however. ? Tomake this restaurant more climate-change friendly, I?d recommend replacing the lamb and beef dishes with something moresustainable ? free range chicken, sustainable fish, or plant-based. Lamb and beef have huge impacts in terms of carbonfootprint, and use of resources (land, water). ? Not much information provided on ingredient sourcing (either on the menu orwebsite). ? A good number of beers on tap (draft beer is quite a bit more sustainable than packaged). ? Overall, could be asustainable restaurant with a few tweaks. Read more

This place is rock solid. The drinks, appetizers and service all done to perfection. Completely recommend stopping by on a... Friday or Saturday night 5:30-10 while the downtown events are happening. The patio is perfect for laying low while the kidsplay in the shutdown street. Read more

Kietz Hall successfully combines an atheistic environment with a functional space. I highly recommend coming here as a group to... enjoy drinks and food. As they earn their tenure I hope their food quality will match their cocktails. The food wasn?t bad byany means, but a few tweaks would make the high price much more worthwhile The lamb burger came a la carte but was pretty goodwith the sauce they added (order fries or an app because it?s small). The Kale Caesar leaves room for improvement in my mind,as the kale could have been massaged more. The fried brussel sprouts were spectacular. I wish the restaurant success andhopefully will be back in the future. Read more

Delicious food with the best view in Marin! We?ve been back many times because we love the atmosphere. It?s fun and lively but... never too loud. The decor is beautiful. The mezze platter and margaritas are delicious!! Great place for cocktails, a meal, or aprivate event. Read more

Food is mediocre at best. Drinks are good, wine is served in tumblers as they have no stemware. If you like a drink on the deck... you will have a good time. But for food Marin has so many better places. And yes the online ordering is not my thing. Read more
