I tried the chili cheese burger for the first time. It was so good. I hope they don't take it off the menu. The staff were... all nice but they seemed to be new and we're learning everything. It was fine because we are all new when we start a new job. They will get faster but overall it was a good experience. I didn't go inside so I don't know if it was clean or not. If I could give my experience a 0 star, I would. 30+ minutes waiting in the drive thru. My MIL did not get her full order (her... burger was missing). She was told that they were getting it out "as fast as we can." Now, mind you, there were 5+ employeesloitering around the soda machine, talking and laughing. Whataburger is slower than Christmas. Even when I order ahead on the app there is an unreasonable wait. Although this one is... better than the ones on Sherwood and Bryant. It's a good burger, but not worth the price and wait in my opinion. It's hyped upmore than it should be. It's definitely not "fast" food, but it's pretty good once you get it. Out of five people in our group four of us really liked this burger. What stood out for me was the fantastic staff. Super... helpful, they come around to your table and offer you as much sauces as you want. Restaurant is clean even though it is not new.Great local feel. Burger is much larger than you would expect. The meat is real meat and Good quality. The only complaint wehad was at the buns are not toasted well, and that the texture is a bit soft for such a nice burger. Fries fries were a bit ofa disappointment. Unless you like super greasy thin homemade type fries. But they're easily redeemable with lots of nice dippingchoices. Sweet tea on tap! Read more
This place needs a major overhaul. Sometimes you get good service, but most of the time not. Sometimes it takes forever to... receive your food. They are not a fast food joint. Yesterday I ordered using their app and drove over to pickup the order. When I called they said it would be ready in 5 to 7 minutes. I drove over and let them know I was there and they promplybrought my order out. The food was cold as could be. I had to take it home and heat in the microwave before I could eat it. I don't usually go to this location because it's so far away from my house but my daughter and I happened to be in the area when... we both decided to have lunch at this location. We were so impressed with Haley. She was so patient with us not being able todecide what we wanted. She helped us finally decide on our order assuring us that the cook James was the best and we wouldn't bedisappointed and she was so right. We will def go out of our way from now on just to have James make out food!! Read more
