WOW. Talk about the best BBQ beans I have every had! Wife and I stopped in there for dinner in Oct 2022 and has an amazing... meal. The wings sauce was a blend of greatness and the ribs were cooked prefect in my opinion. I should drop it to 4 starsbecause the wait staff seemed some what annoyed, stoned/high, by having to do anything that required them to not look at therephones ever free moment. I guess it just par for this generation. But because the BBQ was so good I'm not going to let theirwork ethic hurt this review. It's a must visit and we will return. Also get the corn nugget side! Stopped here after Green River Tubing. It hit the spot! I got their special barbecue sandwich with both pulled pork and beef... brisket, and it did not disappoint! They had a great selection of beer and the outdoor area is dog friendly! Will definitely beback anytime I?m up this way! Read more
A great place to have some bbq. The food was great their sauce is Amazing! The drinks are good too. The only issue I had with... them is that they took foreeeever to get our food and drinks our but honestly this place is worth the wait and tastes amazing! Read more
About a week ago, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with fries and another order to go. As you can see from the pics, my... sandwich has old, black and burnt food particles from a dirty grill and spatula. Everything that was ordered on this day tastedgreat but if I am receiving nasty remnants of other foods cooked on this grill, it makes me wonder when it was last cleaned andwhat other parts of this kitchen are also dirty. I doubt I will be coming back to eat here considering they obviously don't takemuch pride in the cleanliness of their equipment/kitchen or the appearance of the food they are serving people. Checked this place out after apple picking, their bbq was delicious! The waitress was very friendly and even got our dog a bowl... of water which we thought was sweet. My pulled pork was tender and moist and the homemade baked beans were really good too. Wealso got the berry cobbler and peanut butter pie, both of which were amazing. The only thing that wasn?t good was their mac andcheese. It didn?t have any flavor and my macaroni was all stuck together as if it had been microwaved too many times over. Also,it would be nice if for the sandwich meals, they offered a complimentary side since adding sides is an additional $4.50 and thesandwich itself is already over $10. Read more
We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio of this beautiful little mountain town BBQ joint. The air was so crispy and fresh... for it to be summer time it was nice. The lady's in there were super friendly they let us keep our doggy with us on the patioand she sat at the table with us and got her own little plate of barbecue. The ladies loved petting hour little Darla the dog!The food came out quickly and I have to say it was pretty good. This was a nice conservative area where they weren't forcingpeople to wear masks! At first me and my wife waited for around 20 minutes to be seated. The waitress that was there which she was older, ignored us... and seated people who who showed up after 15 minutes of us waiting and they were immediately seated. Seemed like she knew whothey were so I am guessing locals. (Just a guess since it seemed like she knew who they were) Eventually a new waitress showedup and had us seated. Now after being seated our service was wonderful and our waitress was attentive when needed. We ordered.Fried pickles and Jalapeños, fried tomatoes, smoked turkey plate w/ Mac and cheese/baked potato salad and Smoked Beef BrisketPlate w/ Mac and cheese/collard greens. Jalapeños 10/10 perfect love them. Pickles 10/10 perfect loved them. Fried Tomatoes4/10 raw batter, no flavor. Nice cuts of tomato tho. Side note the Chow chow that came with these was 10/10 Delicous would loveto throw that on some ???? ???? ???? Smoked Turkey 9/10 was expecting dried out turkey and was very pleased to find it was notdried out at all. Just wish it had been a bit warmer when served. Smoked Brisket 9/10 perfect again just wish it was a bitwarmer when served. Mac and Cheese 2/10 no taste no flavor? No cheese where was the cheese???? Baked potato salad 9/10 reallygood! Collard greens 7/10 these were ok. Now for their sauces. Mild BBQ sauce 10/10 ???? ???? ???? Spicy BBQ Sauce 15/10 Waseating that on everything. Which intensified everything. I was Impressed!!!! Mustard was 6/10 Was ok. Gave it a 5 star becauseI believe the issues may just be an off day that can be easily corrected if management address' it.
