The food not the best since their chef is a Microwave. Food consistency is pretty bad. As a Nepali, the momo felt like wrapped... around Samosa Dough when fried. This was a shame. I hope they try to make it better. Everything is disintegrated in regards tofood. Mostly stale. No hate but rather shameful. Read more

Absolutely fabulous! Went to City Creek and was disappointed that my favorite food court fare was closed. Lucky I turned around... and found this spot. The employees were kind, friendly, and helpful. The food was flavorful, plentiful, and just plaingood. I got the daily special, a samosa, and the dessert. I was pleased with every piece! The samosa was too spicy for me, butI'm a spice wimp. Short wait, great people. Give it a try! I will go again. Read more

Veggies were super old so I asked if they were making more and the guy said yes but didn?t offer me any. He was super slow and... when I came back for new veggies he handled my used utensil then touched the next person?s food without washing hands orchanging gloves. Tortillas was hard and old. Tikka masala sauce was yummy and a 3/5 on spice. Coconut sauce was bland. Read more

I was excited for food court Indian food, but this was a major letdown. The portion of noodles I got was laughably small, and... cold. The chicken was dry and lukewarm, and again the portion was small with only 3-4 chunks in each serving. The curry flavorwas the saving grace as it was pretty solid, but not enough to feel good about dropping 11 bucks on a disappointing meal. Mightbe better if you go during a more peak time? Read more

Wonderful Indian food. I tried all three chicken entrees and they were so yummy. The spicy chicken I just did a small sample... and I wish I would have got more. I got my Indian spices euphoria. I missed that from the Indian ladies bringing home madefood to work. I wish we had this place at the Oregon coast. Read more

Inconsistency thy name is Zimbu. This score was difficult. If you love curry you're probably going to eat here anyway since... it's so rare to have curry in a food court, and if you don't know what you want, I don't know if this should your introductionto Indian curry. I eat here reasonably often, pretty much every time I come to City Creek, and no two visits have been thesame. Ranging from my initial experience here which was quite excellent, to a few other visits which almost made me stopcoming. But I love curry, so I keep coming back, hoping that this time it will be good again. Am I involved in an unhealthyrelationship? I might need to rethink my life choices. I always order Tikka Chicken with Tikka Masala and Roasted Chicken withCoconut Curry. Between the two, the Tikka Masala has been a little more consistent. Generally a light tomato paste basedcurry. To my taste, I appreciate that Zimbu's offering has never dropped too deeply into the tomato paste as some recipes do. Today's version actually tasted quite good, but for some reason the chicken was cut into 1" thick slices of chicken breast andnot fully warmed through. Very strange. The roasted chicken this time was much better than it has been, still a bit thick inthe cut, but reasonable, and today it wasn't severely overcooked. The coconut curry however was middle of the road for Zimbu'strack record. Tasting more like a sour cream sauce than a coconut curry, but not diving to the depths of crazy that they haveserved me in the past. Truth is that 3 stars is generous for what I've been served here before, but I can hope for betterthings in the future right? Hope is rarely a personality trait of my reviews, but today was... OK. And I know I will eat hereagain because I love curry, so how could give less than 3 stars? Read more

This was so much better than I had even hoped for! The rice, chicken tiki masala w/ tiki sauce, and the samosa were all... excellent! I also enjoyed the momo sauce but it was a little spicier than I am used to. Small bites of yummy goodness followedby lots of ice water! I'm working on rebuilding my spice tolerance but this was perfect for my husband. Service was great, foodwas excellent, and it was well worth the cost. Read more

We went pretty late in the day and some food (momos) was a little cold?but in general, the food was delicious. We liked the... chicken roasted and chicken tikka. Samosas were warm and good. Momos and veggie rolls were above average too. The woman whoserved us was graceful and kind too. Will come back again. Read more
