It is good sushi, if you are on the area treat yourself to some lovely raw fish on rice. The luxury shrimp was fantastic

I was looking forward to trying Yellowfinn, when it is warm their patio has an excellent atmosphere. However, their sushi left... much to be desired. Me and my partner tried a variety of rolls and nigiri. We both agreed that the rolls had too much rice tothe point where you could hardly the taste the fish or other ingredients inside. I also thought the quality of the fish was justokay. Overall, I would maybe stop by on a nice day to enjoy the patio, but would not seek it out over other sushi spots in thearea. Read more

Great atmosphere, yummy sushi! It?s a little high in price for me and my boyfriend to go to on a regular basis, but it makes a... great spot for special date nights. I?ve had a little bit of everything on the menu, as have my friends, and we love it! Servicestaff is always nice and attentive. Only bad part is the wait time. On Saturdays and Fridays, expect a LONG wait (1-2 hours).But that?s to be expected of a smaller scale Sugarhouse restaurant. Amazing as always! Read more

Staff was extremely friendly and prompt with service. The restaurant space is relaxing and welcoming. Definitely fits into the... sugar house fun and casual atmosphere. Yellowfin has a nice outdoor covered patio space which was awesome to sit in. And thebest part of the experience was the food. The sushi rolls were absolutely incredible. The drink menu is solid. Without a doubt the WORST experience I?ve ever had eating ANYWHERE!!!!! To start it was extremely hot in the restaurant so we... sat outside. The flies just about ran us off. The water came out with NO ice. We placed our order. My girlfriend orders shrimpfried rice. ( The picture is what they call shrimp fried rice. ) she also ordered a sushi roll and I ordered TWO sushi rolls.Needless to say she didn?t like the fried rice(probably because of the absurd amount of veggies) we asked to take it off thebill because its no where near what we expected. I she ate her sushi roll and I ate the ONE sushi roll they brought to me. Weask for the second roll I ordered and the waiter gets an attitude saying we didn?t order another one. We reassured him we didand he said well I must not of heard you and stormed off. I have eaten sushi from Dutch Harbor, AK all the way to St Thomas,USVI. This was the WORST restaurant experience I have EVER EVER HAD!!! I live less than two miles from this place and I?ll drive20 miles before I ever come back here again!
