Reviews for Sicilia Pizza & Kitchen in Salt Lake City, UT
Just went there, they were closed. I totally spaced out on time today, and I asked if they were still serving. The gentleman who... helped me was the nicest. All the staff with a smile in the face, were super nice and grateful to serve me. I appreciate thisplace so much! Best pizza! Order the Chicken Parm pizza, thank me later! They are the best! And Friday and Saturday they openuntil 2 am! I love Sicília Kitchen! Thanks a lot! Read more
Amazing calzone! Seasoned perfectly. I had spinach and ricotta. Fan-freaking-tastic. Only downside was the staff seemed... irritated or unhappy. However, the food was so good I?d go back and just expect that they are that way. Read more
Prepare yourself for an amazing and unique pizza. I generally test the waters with a plain cheese pizza and this place did not... disappoint. Upon first bite I was greeted by a sweet and herby flavor that has a uniqueness of it's own. No flavor isoverpowering and it wasn't drowning in sauce or cheese as is unfortunately the case with most pizzas. The crust was thin belowthe toppings but maintained a wide thick rim around the perimeter of the pizza. Despite the heavy appearance the crust waslight, soft, and airy. I do believe it is the best crust I've ever tasted on a pizza. I would get another pizza here a thousandtimes over but unfortunately I am not from this town and it might be the only time I eat it. Sicilia pizza you will forever bein my heart. Read more
So incredibly disappointed. Pizza was burnt, soggy, and had no taste. I will save you the trouble and recommend anywhere else,... even including Pizza Hut. My loss is your avoided loss. Read more
It was worth it, it was good. It wasn?t amazing, but I will take it over any chain. I got the meat pizza and it was good. The... crust was yummy but the toppings were slim. I ate the whole thing, so it was worth it. The garlic bread was horrible. It wasmore like deep fried dough like a funnel cake or something. The setting is nice, but it wasn?t very clean. Not horrible though. Read more
We fell upon this pizzeria while looking for a place to eat and watch the Tampa Bay Lightning game. We enjoyed pizza by the... slice - yum. Full honey-garlic wings. Fresh, hot garlic knots. Just delicious. The staff was very friendly as well. I alsoenjoyed the interior, industrial feel and wall art - which might be from locals. I would come back here if in the area again andfancied some pizza. Thanks everyone! Read more
Tasty pizza quick. Was walking by to go to a different restaurant and smelled the pizza which changed my mind. Got a pepperoni... pizza and order of garlic rolls. Pizza is a thin style, needed to use a fork to eat the ends but it tasted good. Garlic rollswere interesting but not for me. Reminded me a bit of a funnel cake but twisted. Read more
With a name like Sicilia Pizza, you would think ordering a square pizza would mean a Sicilian Pizza. At least that's what a... square pizza means on the East Coast. Instead, a round pizza was delivered. When I called to see where my square pizza was, theyoung lady told me the driver cut it wrong. Should have been square cut pieces, not triangle cut slices. She asked me what Iwould like done. I responded I would like a square pizza. To which she replied, it's all the same dough, just how the toppingsare layered under or on top of the cheese. So, if you expect a square pizza to be a thick, crispy, doughy Sicilian pizza here,it's not. It's just in how they cut it. Not bad pizza. Just not what I expected. Below is a picture of square Sicilian Pizza. Mangia! In response to owner: I understand there are different shapes of pizza, plus I have been to Sicily and lived amongSicilians for many years. The original, authentic version from Sicily comes from Palermo and is called sfincione, which looselytranslates as "thick sponge." My point is your website says "square pizza" which is what I ordered, not round pizza cut insquare pieces. Please don't misunderstand, your pizza is delicious. Just the description needs to be clearer. Grazie. Read more
