This Publick might have more emphasis on food than their sister coffee shop, but it's still very coffee focused. The food is... more supplementary than the main show, but it's still good stuff. Consider this a great, casual and relatively quick stop beforean adventure elsewhere. I enjoyed a great coffee and BLT on the front balcony to fuel up for a hike. They're not quite open forin-building dining yet, but they have tables in front of their patio. Food comes out quick, and is straight forward and fresh.Light, green, fresh and easy, this is a nice and quick dose of lean calories to enjoy in the sunshine. Read more

Went here for brunch. The food was quite good, I had a goat cheese and vegetable toast. The vegetables were carrots, which were... tasty, but a little be undercooked to be a topping on toast. It was still quite good though. The coffee was wonderful. I don'trecommend sitting inside here, especially if it's busy. It's very echoey and loud inside, making conversation kind ofunpleasant. Service was nice, if a bit inattentive, she was still professional. I'd definitely go back, but on a nice day wherewe can sit outside though. Read more

What a delightful place to stop for a breakfast. My breakfast was wonderful and the pricing is well worth the stop. The item I... ordered was avocado on toast with a side of eggs they offer a variety of options for any breakfast craving. The interior tablesseat about 40 guests and they offer a outdoor shaded seating area as well for dining. The restaurant is clean and quiet. Iwould recommend getting a bite here if you are looking for a relaxed slow paced breakfast that is well priced and tastes great. Read more

Have been wanting to check out this cute couple of blocks in Sugar House where Publik is, and decided to hit them up this... morning after going to make breakfast at home and discovering we were out of sausage AND bacon (the horror!) They did notdisappoint. I had to try the Hash, especially after someone rated them 3 stars because of their 'pretentious' take on thestaple dish. It IS indeed a different take on the dish - i.e. instead of a small diced greasy hashes mix, it consisted of thinsliced potato rounds, country sausage patties, and sauteed onions, with a thick slice of sourdough bread. So, different, yes.But good. I would prefer a chorizo or other spicy sausage option though. Only complaint would be that one of my poached eggs wascooked through (instead of a runny yolk). Also got the avocado toast. Probably also considered a pretentious dish by some, sototally worth it. Thick, rich avocado slices, perfectly ripe, and seasoned just right, also on a nice fat slab of bread. Thiswas my favorite of everything we tried! My wife got the French toast, eggs over medium and a side of thick cut bacon. The eggswere cooked perfectly, and the French toast (with real maple syrup!) and bacon were fantastic. Of course, Publik has their ownroastery, so we had to get coffee as well. Got a cold brew iced....so good. Smooth and full of flavor. Service was great (wesat outside under a table umbrella). Prices were as expected for the quality and area - we spent about $40 with tip. I'dprobably go back and just get the avocado toast and coffee. ???? Read more

I go here for my occasional biscuit and gravy craving! They have a nice yet small lunch/brunch menu. The Coffee is excellent and... always fresh. Cool, trendy intetior design and alway friendly, fast service. Only complaint...because of Utah's insane liquorlaws....no Mamosas for brunch :/ That would complete my adoration of this fun spot. 5 stars none the less. Read more

Loved the food! The French toast was awesome, made with some special Publik sourdough bread with mocha chocolate chips. Served... with maple syrup and cinnamon butter. I got a side of potatoes too. Expensive but delicious. Read more
