One of the best fried chicken sandwiches my mouth has ever touched. The chicken was juicy, crispy and had the perfect amount of... spice. This was a lovely, albeit semi-hidden quick stop right behind the Eccles Theater and City Creek Mall. The service window person... was very friendly and patient with all our questions, even when we ordered from the wrong menu (the paper menu listed in thephotos from previous reviews is out of date). We got the Mild spice level of every item we tried so we could get the fullflavor, and it's really good. The sauce makes it though, ask for PB Sauce AND Hot Honey Sauce if you want the full serviceexperience. One combo plus an extra side is plenty of food for two people so don't be afraid to share. We'll definitely stophere again when we're on foot in SLC. Kinda hard to get to via car, just a heads up. Read more

Great Nashville hot chicken. I got the ?hot? and it was more of a medium hot. I could have gone one step hotter and really... enjoyed it. So if you?re a spice addict go ahead and go full send on the heat level. The chicken was moist and perfectlyfriend. I found the breading to be a little dry though. The service is strange. Very tasty spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the seasoning was very tasty. I got "hot" seasoning... which was a good level for someone like me that enjoys spicy foods. There was one more spiciness level but unless they took aBIG step up I don't imagine it would be too painful. Little disappointed they didn't make any fresh lemonade or iced tea. My son and I stopped by Pretty Bird to check out their fried chicken sandwiches and they didn't disappoint. The fried chicken... thigh sandwiches are moist, tender and can be prepared from mild to very hot. They're dressed with slaw, pickles and pretty birdsauce. The most pleasant surprise for me was were the crinkle cut fries whose crispy goodness was among the best I've ever had.The downtown location is an order online only spot. Pretty Bird is hands-down the best fried chicken place in Utah. I highly recommend the chicken sando. Just be careful when... selecting your spice level, because the hot bottom level really does deliver a kick of heat (which can be hard to find in thisstate).
