I've always have loved Papa John's, but this location isn't great at all. The pizza was late, and by the time we got it, it was... cold. We had to warm it up just to eat it. The ONLY reason we ate it is because it's hard to do anything with 4 screaming hungrykids. I appreciate the manager listening to my complaints, and I appreciate him trying to keep be happy, but the truth of thematter is, I shouldn't have to wait almost an hour to warm up pizza. Horrible customer service on the phone. They messed up our order, which happens, but when they had to remake the correct pizza,... they charged me for it. This is the second bad experience we?ve had here, love the pizza, but will be finding a new spot. Read more
We placed an order and it arrived way late and cold. We called the store to request a refund because the pizza was of such poor... quality. Luis answered the phone and was dismissive, rude, uncooperative, and unprofessional. We asked for a credit and heresponded ?I?ll get to it later.? We asked for some sort of confirmation, and he refused to give us any type of confirmation.Eventually he hung up on us. The last 12 reviews from the date of writing this have been almost all one star. That tells youeverything you need to know about this establishment. This Papa John?s will have my business. The door dash delivery driver screwed me and said they delivered the pizza and didn?t.... So I called the store and the person I spoke with said he would immediately get me my order. 15 min later, it was hot and fresh.And had somebody from the store deliver it to me instead. First off I want to say I have been ordering from this location for over TEN YEARS (closer to fifteen actually). I'm leaving 2... just based on the previous years were great, until recently. I also never leave reviews like this, but I'm just flabbergastedat this point on how and why location is still open. I will have to switch locations or chains entirely. The first few timeswhen my food was late I could understand because they apparently have had driver shortages. Issues with missing things like sodaor sauce? Orders not correct but still edoble? No big deal, whatever I didn't complain at all. I just wanna explain my morningfirst off to how this is just a cherry on top; Our basement semi flooded, so we spent time mopping/ sopping up water and fixingwhat caused the issue. So of course, lunch time we're all tired and hungry. Now I'm just astonished how the app was stuck in"making" for over 30 mins, blinked saying "delivery in 5 mins" via doordash, then back to "making". Well an hour, only to thenget a DOORDASH update saying its on its way. Cool, awesome ???? didn't mind waiting but was getting concerned a little. Opened up my boxes to find nice breadsticks ? then we all started popping open that pizza box. ???? holy hell I kid you not Isaid "what the hell did they do, leave the pizza in the oven for the whole HOUR?". I've ordered well done for about 7 yrs simplybecause I prefer the bottom to not be a soggy mess, but this was a soggy mess AND burnt. If you cannot properly fill orders thendo NOT continue to take them. That would be my advice. Keep in mind this is from someone who's been ordering from them for wellover a decade, this store has developed serious issues for the last year. I have always like papa John's most as far as chain pizza joints go, but we order domino's typically, because it's... cheaper. Decided to give in to a craving for papa John's breadsticks last night, but ended up with plain breadsticks instead ofthe garlic parmesan I ordered, as well as toppings missing that I ordered. Everything was printed correctly on the stickers onthe box. Not impressed. Read more
We have not had papa johns for some time now. We ordered the Hawaiian chicken barbecue no onions we got it with no pineapple not... a huge big deal. Then the associate up sells me on breadsticks I asked him if they?re good and what he prefers he says hecouldn?t recommend it to me because everybody has different taste buds. Then don?t upsell people if you can?t recommend it. Iknow why he can?t recommend it because they were nasty and burn very disappointed now I know why we haven?t been back for awhile. Read more
I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered unsauced wings and what was supposed to be an extra large pizza because it was the... new york style pizza. It took way longer than it was supposed to, then pizza was cold and gross and even though the sticker onthe wings said unsauced the were covered in sauce. I called and the person who answered said they would refund me. When I didntget the refund in my account, I called and spoke to the manager who made me feel like I lied about calling the store and that Ididn't really even place an order from "his" store. He found my order and said the money was refunded because they canceled myorder and that it was clearly my banks fault. I will NEVER order from this store or Papa John's ever again. The manager wasnothing but rude, dismissive and just didn't care. Adios Papa John's. You should probably get a new manager for your Murray, UTstore because he is giving your business a bad name.
