In spite of the fact that they were understaffed and it took a while to get served, plus they ran out of rice, but later brought... some, the food was terrific. We tried several dishes, but I focused on the chicken katsu and that seemed to be the favorite ofthe table. Wonderful ambiance, but due to the acoustics inside they really need to keep the music level down. Read more

New cool and hip vibes in SLC! I?ve been here so many times and the foods and service never let me down. This is the place if... you want to taste cool Korean dishes. Price is pricey but reasonable. Absolutely recommend this place. Read more

Came in here for an early Mother's Day dinner. We made reservations for 5:45 and there weren't a ton of people there which was... actually kind of nice. The place is absolutely beautiful and I love the open kitchen area where you can see them cooking allyour food. You can tell they are truly into it and having fun making art out of food back there. We ordered the spicy chicken, the spicy cauliflower, the panko shrimp skewers, the flat iron steak skewers, the udon noodles, the spicy rice cakes, and thepork belly. Each dish came out super fast and they were all so flavorful and delicious. They were plated beautifully and it wasa ton of food for just the three of us. Everything was hot, not over spiced or oily, and the portions were fabulous. The vibein there is really cool. It's pretty minimalist very clean and the staff was super friendly. It's a beautiful place to dine.Very excited to take in-laws here when they're visiting and also come back with friends for dinner to try out everything that wedidn't get to on the menu. Read more

I am so grateful I found Nohm! Everything we ordered was delicious. The servers are very kind and helpful in answering any... questions we had. Keep in mind that yakitori can sometimes take more time to come out especially if they?re busy- but we did notmind one bit as all the yakitori skewers we tried were SO good and worth the wait! The Bossam was tender and the sashimi wasvery fresh. Honestly wish more people knew about this place. We can?t wait to come back! Read more

So stinking good. Reasonably priced and phenomenal food. Everything ambiance, service, options, esthetics, flavor profiles was... so on point. Just tell google to take you here already. So glad I found another spot to add to my list of regular jams. Feellike I am back in San Francisco #quality #service #amazing Read more

They have small dishes like tapas, great drinks and good ambience for socializing. I enjoyed the foods (skewers, raw fishes,... udon noodles, etc.) the price is on the high side but worth it. The place is busy so you might want to call ahead. Read more

I ordered the chicken katsu and it tasted amazing. I didn't really like the cabbage on the side haha but the meat was very soft... and delicious. Their bossam and the pepper chicken is good too. If you are not good with spicy stuff, maybe the pepper chickenisn't for you. The quality of the food is great, but if you are thinking of big portions, this may not be the place you arelooking for. Would definitely visit again! Read more

I don?t usually eat raw fish in Utah (spoiled from eating from brilliant chefs in LA) but after reading the menu I decided to... take a chance on nohm. I?m glad I did. Fresh wasabi root, house pickled ginger, correctly seasoned sushi rice, binchotancharcoal, they cure their own mackerel?. I could keep going? point is, this restaurant deserves far more business for the levelof quality they provide. Chef David is exceptionally talented and passionate. Eat here if you want a truly standout experience. Pictures are in order. Shime saba, kushiyaki sampler (chicken tender, thigh with green onion, wing, skin, and enoki mushroomwrapped in pork belly) plus the wagyu yaki, ankimo, and the miniburi. Everything ate so well from taste, texture, temperature, and presentation. I plan on eating through the whole menu as quickly as I can. Read more
