I came here to get a cup of coffee, and a quick bite. I waited forever to get up to the speaker, and when I finally got up... there, the girl told me to wait. I told her no worries. I proceeded to wait for 10 minutes while I watched the other line go andgo and go. The people behind me eventually moved. I said "are you ready for me to order yet?" Proceeded to wait longer with noreply and watch car after car go through. Fastest McDonalds I've ever been to. Makes it easy to grab a bite and drive off to work no problem!
One of the worst things that a restaurant can do is turn away paying customers away 20 minutes before closing. My son had just... left work and we stopped at McDonald?s on State st. They Are open til midnight. The drive thru was full with 4 cars in front ofus. Two other vehicles pulled in while we waited after 2 cars finally ordered as we pulled forward the back door opens and awoman yelling ? WE ARE CLOSED? the clock was at 11:45. But one by one all 6 of the cars left the drive thru. We had been waitingin the drive thru line for 15 minutes. We ended up at the McDonald?s on 3300 S. They were still serving customers. I can?timagine, in the post Covid climate, that any franchised business that has managed to stay open while so many others have beenforced to closed down would turn away paying carloads of customers. www spent near 30 bucks at the McDonald?s down the road. Ifeach of the cars spent 30$ or more that?s hundreds of $$. Told to go elsewhere ? I will never go back to this location. Funnythat my mind will forever know the reason. I had to go to work and nobody was going to hurry and take my order. The manager had me swipe my card too many times and it said... approved and she said I still owed, I left empty handed, called my card and $2 + $6 was taken. I expect a little gift card toredeem poor performance. Wasted my time but Good job earning a bad review(: If I don?t receive anything, I?ll have to show mytransactions an I will.
