I?ve been into Logos many times since they opened and am almost always happy with the drinks. However after the last couple of... visits, we won?t be going back.\n\nOccasionally we stop by on the way to take my daughter to school. When I go in, I?ll be inand out in the expected amount of time. I?ve sent my teenager in a couple of times and after she orders, she ends up waiting avery long time for her coffee. The most recent time was over 20 minutes!! For a single iced latte. A handful of people cameafter her and all got their drink before her.\n\nThis has happened more than once. I honestly think Logos may have some of (if not THE) best coffee in the city. The drip is always amazing from the roast to the... sourcing. But they also excel with every single espresso drink. It?s not often you find a coffee shop pulling shots withconsistently dialed balance, smoothness, and distinction. To top it all off each employee really knows how to steam milk aswell. stopped in out of curiosity for a coffee shop with a modbar, and was impressed with sapphire\'s friendly service, ability to... talk about the individual coffees, and attention to detail in brewing. and i was pretty much blown away at the quality of thecoffee. i wouldn\'t expect an experience of this level everytime, and maybe i got a little lucky, but i know a perfectextraction on an espresso AND a pour over doesn\'t just happen by chance.\n\npour over of a naturally dried costarica:\n\nbalance: 8.5/10 sometimes you just get a perfectly extracted coffee!\nclarity: 8.5/10 clean cup allowing a solidexploration of its qualities.\nacidity: 8/10 crisp and refreshing acidity of a pink wine.\nsweetness: 8/10 clearlystrawberries.\nbody: jk\nsatisfaction factor: 8/10 the kind of cup where the first sip makes you stop in your tracks, and evenif you weren\'t planning on finishing it, it disappears before you finish your review.\n\nespresso: brazil/natural ethiopia:7.5/10\nthick shot with a crema that lingers until the last sip, it\'s pleasant brightness is balanced with a deep fresh fruitsweetness. not nutty like you\'d expect from a brazil, not chocolatey, more like an SO ethiopia with the edges rounded a bit. High quality and extremely smooth coffee! The only coffee in Utah that I truly enjoy. For those who commented on the price:... specialty coffee is not cheap! And to make it right, it requires a lot of training. Well done Logos team! Read more
